the neutral card is not a good choice for participe to military actions.
and for my rank on the forum , i understood the system :)
Me and my bros have been playing over our LAN and have all upgraded our ships and lost our ID's in the proccess.
Ive read around alot and apparently there should be FreeLancer ID's on manhattan but we cant find them, my character is very friendly with Liberty Police, Liberty security, Liberty Navy, Interspace Comerce, with like a 9/10 green block thing, then theres a few other friendly factions.
Can anyone shed some light on why we cant find the ID's (i havent even seen them with the equipment dealers). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Freelancer ID is available on most major bases (costs 1.000.000 credits and you need to be very friendly to the faction that owns the base to buy it) you buy it at the equipment dealer (where you buy the Nanobots, just above them are the IDs you can buy).

I guess the initial poster has 4.80, for he has Freelancer ID by default. In 4.80, there was:
Freelancer ID for 500 cr
Neutral ID for 1000000 cr
In 4.81, there will be:
Civilian ID for 500 cr
Neutral ID for 1000000 cr
Freelancer ID for 1000000 cr
Neither of these IDs indicate you are part of a faction. Instead, all of them indicate that you are not joining any faction.
Civilian ID available from all bases for 500 credits. Btw in Vanilla there's no tractor beam items, so I don't understand why this system causes so many problems... guess that I'd have to put more warnings in readme and mod description.
I have checked in manhattan and loads of other bases (17 now i think) but cant find them anywhere, i have checked with the equipment dealer where you buy the nanobots and shield batteries but they just arent shown.
I was wondering if it could have something to do with the server(im running it on the same computer im playing on) having been used on the non modded version before, but all the new ships have appeared succesfully and the new items.
Is there a way of refreshing my server, like completely starting again.
We are playing multiplayer over our LAN.
I am going to test my game out on singleplayer and see if it is working like you say it should there, to maybe give some hints as to what is going on.
Has the mod been tested on LAN multiplayer ???
I also forgot to say on my original post that i think this mod is absolutely amazing and you are really taking Freelancer to a whole new level.
Try at the bottom of the equipment list then (they should be grayed out if they are there). In that case... your reputation is too low with the given faction and you can't buy the ID.

I had the same problem when I just copied the mod extracted files over the FL folder without activating it properly with the FL Mod Manager. Maybe this is the same situation.
