I mentioned elsewhere, my Klingon friends from the I.K.S. ships in the sector have given me a great deal of their Blood Wine as a tribute. Commander Korg of the Gon'Shar was going to visit but has decided to go cause mayhem elsewhere.

If I'm not running the card table, I'm your Huckleberry! I can watch the door a bit. *Tucks shot gun under his trench coat and closes his coat around his front mounted pistols as well* I don't foresee us having any trouble.

Well, Popes, an interesting development. Doc Holliday seems to think that his new Klingon friends may actually have Pineals, and they may be worth polishing. We shall see.

We have psycho-kinetic telepathic pooches, sentient talking transponders, and other assorted mutants.. why not give these bumpy-headed grumps a try, eh. Please join me in welcoming Commander Matok and the crew of the [TAZ]I.K.S._Vor'tcha to our little Granfaloon.

Also, we seem to have an "Independent" Discordian floating about the Sector as well. Sophie spoke with Adam Rotschild of the vessel "Kallisti" today. He seemed a bit surprised that Eris has been represented in Sirius for a number of years; but seemed delighted to learn of the TAZ's existence. Please extend Adam and his crew every courtesy. (He may be a spy sent by Eris to check our Pineals, eh?)

A huge thanks to all who helped with the Open House. Oh, and Riley, don't fret, lad. I'm sure we can overlook your absence, considering the rather colorful circumstances you found yourself in. You'll get double duty next time!

All for now. Back to perfecting our new Pineal Amulet. We may have to crank down the visions/hallucinations feature a tad more. It's a bit strong for your average cabbage to tolerate at present.

Greetings. This is Commander Matok. My crew and I are honored to be among you. It is nice to know that we have finally been accepted by someone in the sector, minus Doc, of course, who came to our aid awhile back and has helped us find our way. So we hope we fit in this....Granfaloon.

We are in a gunboat and have found sport in hunting Nomads and Wilde. We can be called upon if needed. Oh yes, and we have some more of our brethren who have gone into producing Blood Wine in Grand Canaria. The Liberty Navy deemed it too strong and banned it's production. It seems that Corsairs and fellow Zoners love it so they have found a market for it. It will be readily available for all.

It might seem as if we have a problem, fellow TAZers. The Vor'tcha was flying by planet New Tokyo when Matok and his crew were warned to "stay far away, TAZ." So, I took this screenie:

Matok COULD have gone after them if he wanted too but went on his way and no shots were fired. The matter was referred to leadership. I think we need to look out for these people, the Agnus Dei. They claim "religious differences."

Doc, Im sorry I havent responded to your report regarding the Agnus Dei vessel you encountered in New Tokyo.

I have checked with Sirius Registrars, and they have informed me that this group of Zealots has no official standing in the Sector at present. For this reason, I am issuing the following directive to all TAZ members:

Give all Agnus Dei vessels a wide berth, anywhere in Sirius.

Do not attempt to proselytize em, do not enter into religious discusssions with em. In fact, ignore them entirely if possible.

If they get completely and utterly up your nose, or show any signs of hostility, withdraw and report the incident immediately.

I believe this is probably an isolated incident, but it never hurts to be cautious when dealing with primates who cling to extremely limited and narrow Reality Tunnels.

So, uh, a funny thing happened on the way to Cape Verde Station:

(ahem) I, umm, well, because I wasn't thinking about where I was or what I was doing... I was forced to be shot down for not obeying direct SCRA orders while in their home system.

Heh! ...see? Funny stuff huh?

...Ok, so anyway, with my brand new & shiny Zoner Guard badge I was notified of some trouble in O-49 & had to put down a guy for trying to flee the system into Dublin with prisoners he picked off from a Corsair patrol.

I followed him to the other side of the hole so I could recieve the pilots back, & I witnessed him picking off more. I admit that I chose to loose my zen, & decided that in the spirit of sweeping trash off the front porch...I euthenized him.



(did I mention that at this time, I was grouped hith a guy in a zoner boat named Wes? It might be important later.)

So!: Still grouped with Mr. Jansen I start heading for Cape Verde & come to an SCRA roadblock.

(now this is the funny part)

I start acting like a monkey. I saw Verde & grunted in approval.

I saw SCRA pulling & puffing up, demanding Wes & I leave.

I grunted in disaproval, looked at the Zoner station & stood my ground...blissfully unaware that they own it.

By the time Mal contacted me to let me know whose room I was in, I was already running from injuries...I just didn't get away is all.

See? pretty funny huh?

I'll see to it that I do my part to fix this little problem.

Heh! so, ahh...how 'bout that local sports team huh? I thought they really did well the other night.

Well, Riley.. I assume the lesson hit home. It won't be the first "faux podge" we've committed, nor will it be the last.

I just hope McIntosh and Ares still have a taste for Canaria Blue Sapphire. If we don't get Pueblo Bonito's biodomes up and running soon, we'll be running out of items to use for baksheesh, along with the customary grovelling.. sheesh.

All TAZ, attend a little refresher here. Cape Verde is sole property of some gents with an extremely radical Reality Tunnel. It may squawk Zoner on your HUD, but we are the guests there, and should comport ourselves as such.

As to whatever Zoners you may be flying with at the time, you might advise them of local customs and edicts in Omega 52, and encourage them to make their own bloody deals. We can't be held liable for their ignorance or their actions.

Announce yourselves, declare Chairman Mao the sexiest despot ever, and move along.
