Erm, first off, there's some errors in my post... I actually meant:
U = key 85
V = key 86
W = key 87
Anyway. I first looked at the cruise key and noticed it said "87,SHIFT". Since I knew the keys for cruise are SHIFT+W, I thought, hey, maybe 87 is W. Then I checked the rear view key -- it was "86". Again, I knew the key for rear view was V, so I realised 86 is V. From that, I logically assumed the letters were assigned numbers -- from 65 to 90 -- based on their position in the alphabet... and I suppose I was correct.
A - 65
B - 66
C - 67
D - 68
...
U - 85
V - 86
W - 87
X - 88
Y - 89
Z - 90
EDIT:
I just noticed that negative numbers are used for mouse buttons -- except mouse button 1, which is not mapped.
according to my counting and this logic USER_WARP is:
Alt and the letter J
going ingame to try it (hopefully my countings right - if nothing happens I'll try I,J,K and L maybe
EDIT: nothing happened, tried multiple scenarios: selecting ships, bases, gates, docking, jumping, map window, chat etc. - nothing from any of these keys

Sorry for double post but if you look at the keymap ini file it tells you what the keys are underneath the number:
[KeyCmd]
nickname = USER_WARP
ids_name = 0
ids_info = 0
state = keydown
key = "J", ALT
I figured that out by remapping hide HUD to 74. Doesn't do anything though.

I didn't dream it (if you hadn't made that barge I'd...). It was vanilla, single player with the 1.1 patch--no other mods. I was trying custom keyboard assignments for the first time and was writing them down on a piece of paper for quick reference.
Scroll wheel, two-button mouse, awake not dreaming -- no macro programs or hardware running then. Windows xp.
I got in some very hairy combat and hit it and thought, "Afterwards I'll write it down". Then I forgot the combination that I had done. I know I did it with my left hand and I am a sight typist so the keys had to be close together on left side.
When I couldn't remember I read through manual and checked Lancer's looking for a note of it and was surprised there was none.

But it annoys me when people make silly comments about that... especially brits who for the most part can't speak their own language let alone anyone elses!
