I too had an interesting night, as i launched from Manhattan, I was greeted with normal comm chatter.
In this chatter there was a warning of an Order ship in NY. I then proceeded onto patrol as others were dealing with the slave incident as those involved will mention
As I popped out at the Fort Bush area, and I spoted an Order ship, I did not get a screen shot. Then as I turned to scan I got closer and found it was a Order Osirus... A BC. I then called for support and backup.
As I turned to tail the Ordership I was greeted with Missle fire from another ship as I scanned it... 2 Order BS Osirus's in NY. I had no time for screenshots as I pulled the ejection. Moments after lifesupport and systems failed. Lifepod was intact.
After being picked up with the wreckage, I was taken to the Misouri. There I was given permission, that while repairs are being done, I could pilot a bomber. Lord Knows we need them out there. So the rest of my evening was taking the bomber out and getting her ship-shape. I am still needing a few weapons. Detroit is not not wanting to release the adv. Debs....

Mr Hastings.
Due to exceptional valor, courage and skill I am hearby promoting you to the rank of Leiutenant Commander. This is a position of authority and responsibility.
You have displayed great respect for your superiours, and dedicated service, plus I like your first name David.
May i first give a warm welcome to our new Lieutenant Commander David Hastings, you earned the promotion sir, and the traits Vice Admiral Hale talked about are always present when you are on duty. Congratulations.
Now down to business, the day started off with a few Hackers a West Point, then some smugglers, then some more pirates, and finally a huge Order battleship in New York to finish the day off with a bang.
The Lane Hackers Tsukasa, Pistolero and Crazy_Ferres all invaded West Point and were ruthlessly attacking lawfuls. Lt Commander Hastings and the LNS-Commonwealth were quick to respond, and the targets were successfully neutralised.
Then i proceeded to Texas where i found two embargo breakers. Named [STF]SuperShoe and Mitsuomi, they both failed to comply with orders to turn around or drop the cargo. However both managed to somehow evade me.
Next up i found Blackbeards.Pearl heading toward Planet Housten. After he refused to leave, i was forced to engage, and Captain Shad Wilson and Recruit Galen Anderson aided me to take him down. The gunboat captain was good, but not good enough it seems, as he was destroyed after a lengthy battle.
I returned to New York after an intruder was sighted near Zone-21, and it just so happened to be Mitsuomi, the previous smuggler who managed to escape before. He wasn't going anywhere this time, with a full load of Artifacts on board. He persisted to engage cruise engines, and failed all demands to stop and drop the cargo. On grounds of failing to comply with a Navy officer and smuggling, i destroyed the target and vaporised the artifacts.
Then i encountered a pirate who has been a real thorn in the Navy's side: [Maf]Cross.Country. This Outcast has personally destroyed my ship on numerous occasions with his excellent bomber handling skills. I hate to commend an Outcast, but he is truly a very good pilot. Double-checking my ejection system, i pursued the target, who had kidnapped a Navy officer. I ordered him to drop the Navy pilot, obviously he refused and began to engage me. Sweat dripping from my face, I engaged the Outcast and showed him the full brunt of my weapons. With his shields down, he was coming for a head on pass, and i armed my supernova. As he wizzed past, i managed to tag him with it and he was destroyed instantly. I double-checked my scanners to make sure he didn't somehow evade the hit, but he didn't...he has finally been taken care of. I wiped the beads of sweat from my face and bought the whole squadron drinks...when we were off-duty of course.
After getting my ship checked out by Missouri's engineers, i came across a smuggler by the name of AceofSpades. He was smuggling Cardamine, and managed to dock on Planet Housten before I managed to order a lockdown. Luckily he almost immediately undocked and after a bit of persuasion, he paid the $4mil fine.
Also, [Ipx]Fuzzy.Melon and Don_Stryker both broke the Rhienland trade embargo twice, and are to arrested as soon as possible.
The day ended with an Order Juggernaught named [THC]BigFatty illegally entering New York. The LNS-Milwaukee as well as numerous other officers came to assist when the Order ship failed to comply with any orders. He was carrying many Navy pilots prisoner, and refused to relinquish them to the Milwaukee, and as such, he was destroyed and all the Navy pilots were recovered.
Day Summary:
[THC]BigFatty --ORDER, KIDNAPPER-- --DESTROYED, NAVY OFFICERS RESCUED--
I look forward to see what working in the Navy will bring me tomorrow, and cannot wait to personally congratulate Lieutenant Commander David Hastings on his promotion.

Re: Possibly Joining up
Today, I had the distinct honor of flying with the pilots Tex and Corran (a police officer I understand, who is also interested in joining) on several patrol routes in a Guardian class fighter. The highlight of these patrols was none other than the eventual destruction of a Phantom refit and commanded Outcast destroyer. I used to serve in Liberty as a bounty hunter a long while ago, but after some internal guild politics and, a betrayal, I was captured and taken prisoner for some time by the Outcasts. Eventually, I did make good my escape, and so, now I have returned, and am looking to get into the action again ( of course, not as a member of the guild, as you could understand).
So, I submit my application to join the Liberty navy.

Greetings everyone,
Thank you very much for the promotion and trust that is being given to me by our high command, and my brothers throughout the Navy. I hope i can keep up with all of the added duties and respect given to me by my rank. I sincerely hope that you respect me for what i do, not just because i am a higher rank now.
Pardon my lack of activity as of late, but with this promotion has come some other administrative tasks that i am trying to get finished as fast as possible, so i may continue to log as many hours as i can. It is always a pleasure flying with my brothers in this Navy!
As i write this communique, the [LN]-LNS-Sequoia (an aging Liberty Gunboat) is being retrofitted and brought back into service under my command. I will soon have the ship's logs ready to be distributed upon request.
Once again, i thank you all for your effort and respect. It is no wonder why we, the Liberty Navy, are the most powerful house in all of Sirius.
With Regards,
Lieutenant Commander David Hastings

Greetings,
Well... I ain't proud of my behaviour lately...
First of all... I wish to have more details about the banishment in Liberty of mercenaries.
My questions are:
Are they suppose to be "ALL" banned ?
What should we do if we see a mercenary in liberty ?
If the banishment is on... Should we destroy them if they don't leave liberty as ordered by one of our officers or myself ?
I suggest to give us a better clarification on this matter as I am not the only one letting some of the mercenaries in Liberty... From last of my knowledge of the laws of liberty... there is nothing saying that mercenaries are banned. So please patch me to the diplomatic channel about the matter.
But as for some experience in the past... I know that we should ban the mercenaries working for the Don's Bounty Board...
Second of all and last behaviour... Myself experienced a bad argument with my wife on planet Los Angeles.. I ain't going in details about it...To tell the truth I felt into depression and hidden a bottle of Whiskey in each of my vessels...After patching some datas at Fort Bush, I then un-docked and grabbed my bottle... Then I couldn't fly very well and I had to land on the planet... My reflex weren't that good and I crashed on the docking bay of Manhattan...
Fortunately I don't have a scratch and my ship was easy to repair....
But I ain't proud of me and I promise that it won't happen any more as I chucked all my whiskey on the atmosphere of Manhattan..... I will find another way more "cleaver" to deal with my personal issues....
Then after my repairs at the Fort Bush Station... I heard a distress signal of a Liberty Navy Pilot...
There was a known Rogue Gunboat bothering the trade lanes near the lanes. I straight un-docked... Tom.Hayes was here... With the help of the pilot Jamis "Cowboy" Reynolds and Corran.Hom we fought the rogue to take him to jail... Unfortunately the pilot Corran who fought well found his ship blown up.. It was Cowboy and me last standing... I see that Mr Reynolds wish to join the Navy... Well I think he would be a good element in our ranks... Because here is a the proof that Tom.Hayes has been takin' care of with Mr Reynolds on my side...
Then I went back to Manhattan to to patch more datas of this Mercenaries matter....
As I go back on duty... The Ageira pilots were calling for help at the Detroit munition.. A known hacker called Phate was hackin' the station on his Slip Stream.... He even hacked my transponder ship... All Ageira pilots thought I was another Hostile then... Here is the proof of the hack...
Well I wasn't lucky this time I ejected my pod and the Ageira finally saw that I was a Navy Pilot by seing my uniform...They saved my pod as Phate was searching it.... Lucky me he did not captured me this time...
Next Time I will get that software to CounterHack the Hacker...
This is all for now... I am docked at Detroit Munition and finishing my repairs for the next patrol....
Congratulation to Lt commander Hasting... I will be glad to follow your command...
First to Lieutenant Commander David Hasting, congratulations.
Since your buying the Drinks, I will see you at the bar tonight.
Second to Jack.Malrone, thank you for the drinks last Night, everyone deserved them.
I want to let command know that after a couple repairs the Bomber that was assigned is now fully operational.
However it did not start that way. After reporting for duty, I was ordered to Colorado to have some knew weapons installed.
A pair of improved Debs. This was satisfactory with me, however I think they may have been the root cause of several control malfunctions that I later discovered.
After the refit, I joined Vice Admiral Valence Harper as wing man. This was just after they had taken care of the Blackbeards.Pearl. we went on patrol as things quieted down.
(I will apologize I do not at this time have access to the secured screen shots as I am not at my normal desk).
It was a pleasure serving the Vice Admiral. It was some time and the Vice Admiral went to retire for the evening.
Later we had a smuggler that was bringing Diamonds from Rhineland to Manhattan, I would need Corran's records to know the name.
This smuggler managed to bypass me at Norfolk and run to Manhattan where Corran (First Day as Recruit) stopped the transport.
However it took me and several others to convince him to drop the cargo. I think Jack.Malrone may have fined him also (not sure).
But it was resolved with two "across the bow" shots.
It was then that an intruder was sighted in Zone-21. Mitsuomi,a smuggler was attempting to enter undetected from Alaska. After entering NY he made a run for it.
With coordinated effort we manage to cut him back into the mine field where as one would expect was destroyed. We were not able to retrieve a life pod.
It was sometime later while on patrol around Norfolk that we encountered a Phantom refitted Outcast destroyer. I never caught the name or scan. It started out near Norfolk then as the vessel was engaged. We pushed/it ran towards the badlands.
It was here that I had sudden loss of controls. My ship was in flight with momentum and I lost complete directional's. I Finally manage to escape collision with the Badlands and rocks with thrusters and direct myself to the closest trade lane.
I was then picked up and towed in. Our friends at eh Missouri worked miracles and mentioned something about improper installation. By the time I was recovered I received the report that the phantom was dead.
I then proceeded back on Patrol with Cowboy, Corran and Cix on my Six and impromptu squad Leader.
We keep liberty safe and quiet until shifts end. One note -- I wish I had been told of [Ipx]Fuzzy.Melon as I was able to pass and scan twice. But had not received orders on him.

These past two days since my last report have been rather difficult. My allegiance has been called to question by a few independently operated ships within Liberty.
Yesterday I encountered an Order Captain by the name of Katrina Browns. After a brief discussion in Texas I left her to re-equip my bomber with pulse weapons. When i got back to New york I came across the same Order ship. The events leading up to a second Corsair Gunboat showing up, Kaize Soze,i can't remember all too well. However, the second Corsair Gunboat had a few Liberty Pilots in it's hold. I wasn't sure how the alleged pirate acquired them, but for all I knew he tractored them in from an Outcast attempting to take them to a Cardamine field. So i simply requested their release. After a few minutes, after the nearby Order captain demanded their release, Kaize Soze transferred the pilots to me. Later, Kearsarge Matt appeared, the Order gunboat had began to leave but the other stayed. After a very brief amount of time, the gunners aboard the battlecruiser opened fire. Being heavily outgunned Kaize Soze began to flee. The battlecruiser attempted to chase after it, but because of Kaize Soze's willing release of the Liberty pilots I found it cruel to allow him to be so overzealously attacked. I disrupted the battlecruiser's cruise engines and went on my way to release the pilots on the Missouri.
Today, I encountered a Corsair Gunboat, the "First Prodigy", out in New York. After a bit of discussion, i suggested he be escorted out of Liberty through Texas. The gunboat began flying towards Zone-21 and was ordered to turn back on course towards the Texas Jumpgate. The ship's captain began talking about an engine malfunction which, after some time had passed, was fixed. The "First Prodigy" began to activate its cruise engines, turning towards the Texas Jumpgate when two nearby battlecruisers and a gunboat disrupted it and opened fire. Later, before the end of my shift, Long-Range Scanners detected Xeno ships in the system. With every other base already covered, I went to Detroit Munitions to search for them. No surprise to me, there they were. I alerted Navy patrols of their location over secure comms. During the fight that broke out, a Hessian Cruiser showed up. All hostile ships were destroyed.
Earlier today, as I was starting my patrol from Texas to Manhattan. I encountered an outcast tagged light fighter Gomez.de.Ruiz taking advantage of lesser experienced pilots (NPCs) near the planet's docking ring. I asked him to drop any officers and civilians he may have stuffed in his hold. He did not respond and began to engage my ship.
After several moments of studying his fighters movements and attack patterns, I successfully lowered his shield. I switched to guided ordinance, fired 2 missiles and strafed out of the way just before they met their target destroying his vessel instantly.
I dropped them off with an LPI officer (which I forgot the name of).
I proceeded to fort bush for repairs and resupply. Afterwards I received word a smuggler retreating to the Colorado anomaly I followed another LN pilot who was already in pursuit, but unfortunately I was unable to catch up in time and the both fell out of scanner range. I investigated the territory around the other side of the Colorado anomaly. That's when I spotted a trader and a train carry over 2900 tons of Cardamine.
I stopped him short of the anomaly I myself had come through moments ago. I demanded he drop the cargo and pay the fine of 4,000,000 Sirius credits. After a bit of "persuading", he complied and destroyed the cargo himself, immediately after it was released, he payed the fine and retreated back to Manhattan.
I returned to the NY system shortly also and finished a gunboat patrol that opened fire on me.
I dropped the survivors off at the LPI prison ship Abraham Lincoln.
I'm now stationed at Manhattan writing this report, waiting for what seems like an ion storm to pass.
