Subject: Second day on the job
I started my day by launching from Manhattan and heading to Colorado/Illinois to try out some different equipment. I then returned to New York and started my patrol. Things were rather quiet for quite a while. For the first few hours the most exciting thing that happened was a Zoner convention. None of them were carrying contraband, and they were just passing through silently, like Zoners tend to do.
I joined a Navy patrol for a while, but we didn't detect anything out of the ordinary. I took a coffee and doughnut break on Newark Station (mmm...Sunbucks.). LNS-Ironhide reminded me that Sunbucks gives you Space Cancer, but I let him in on the secret: The doughnuts cancel the cancer. He promised to keep the secret safe.
When my break was over, I launched from Newark, and was confronted by a strange request from a Bounty Hunter to fire upon my ship to test his weapons. He was in a Battlecruiser, so I didn't like my odds. I politely declined his request, and he moved off a bit. Within seconds, a second battlecruiser appeared on the Scene. This one was showing IMG colors, and I didn't think anything of it until I got in scanner range: http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/pp42/LP...thArtifacts.jpg
As you can see, he was smuggling Artifacts! I ordered him to drop the artifacts, which was pretty funny, with me being in a Liberator. He wondered out loud what I would do if he didn't. I replied that he didn't want to be on Liberty's Wanted list, while on another channel letting the LNS-Ironhide know what was going on. The Bounty Hunter [BHG]KIDy who requested permission to fire on me was still in the area as well. Midnight docked with Manhattan, and LNS-Ironhide requested him to pay the 2mil fine. Midnight didn't make any reply, and LNS-Ironhide contracted with the Hunter to help us out if it came to a fight.
Well, it came to a fight. Midnight undocked from Manhattan and engaged us. I did my best to stay on his tail, hoping to stay in his blind spot, while LNS-Ironhide and [BHG]KIDy blasted him as well. We were certainly winning the fight, and he was nearly destroyed. As near as I can tell, he decided that he wasn't going to get my allies, so picked the easiest target to destroy: Me.
As you can see, he was destroyed within seconds of blowing me out of the sky. LNS-Ironhide picked up my escape pod and dropped me back on Manhattan and I spent the rest of the day filling out the endless paperwork that accompanies an officer's ship being destroyed.

I ran into a Bounty Hunter Battleship in Colorado. I told him to leave, but didn't expect him to listen to me in my Liberator, and there weren't any Navy around, so I let him do whatever it is he was doing: http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/pp42/LP...pInColorado.jpg

Launched from Houston after recovering from a bad case of the flu and returned to New York, where a Nomad (I THINK it was a Nomad, he was flying a Nomad fighter but everything read Xeno) named NightMare was harassing Fort Bush. The Navy managed to take him... it... out (I didn't land a single shot), but a few minutes later scanners read a new hostile: a Rogue named .:BW:.Fire.Punk in a Falcata.
After a fierce battle I managed to take him out:
However, apparently some schmuck rookie had got in the way of one of my plasma blasts and my Guardian was taken out by the Navy and some other LPI. One of the Patriot flatfoots picked me up and proudly carted me back to Houston, where I patiently explained to him that a) I was a sergeant in the SWAT division, b) I had simply misfired and c) if he didn't let me go that very second I would personally have him strung up by the figgin from the Liberty sleeper ship building. Unsurprisingly, he let me go.
Returned to Manhattan and finished patrol.
Incidentally, I'd look into this .:BW:. group. Who are they, what do their initials stand for, how much of a threat are they. That sort of thing.

I want an IMMEDIATE bounty out on Elliot.Morse, a Rogue in a Sabre VHF. He is armed and extremely dangerous. In the time he was active today, he took out myself and Detective Simon Jenkins, and, I believe, a member of the Navy.
Let's see just how confident he is with the Bounty Hunters after him.

thats right, there is a bounty on my head. its a secret one which i found out about yesterday when a mercinery tricked me and atempted to kill me...thank god for the liberty navy...the mercinery was destroyed exept the bounty is still up. it is a secret one so you won't find it here. but i am ordered to stay within liberty until it is dropped. until then in my opinion we should continue to stop mercinery's entering liberty.

Well, today was eventful! Ship changes have been underway along with the filling of the Rikers.
We had a Rogue Gunboat in New York too. "johns_Raider" it was called. Well, after the LNS Lexington told us he was at Rochester, I grabbed the Leavenworth and headed off with Officer Taylor and Commander Dennis. We ordered the Rogue to leave the system and, for a while, he complied. Then he got to the Rogue Destroyer.
Things went downhill from here. Dennis was forced to leave for a re-supply mission (again, for the Rikers) while Taylor was forced to disengage after taking heavy fire from both johns_Raider and the Destroyer. Thankfully, reinforcements came in the form of Fred.Hertz and Nolan.Wolf, two LSF agents.
After a bit of fire exchanging, the Gunboat was down. Now the Leavenworth's in for repair - as usual - and i'm back in my Liberator. A good day all round really.
Shows up in his Titan. Which is, you know, a Corsair vessel, though he wasn't flying their colors. I informed him of the ban on such vessels in Liberty, and he cooperated, as I escorted him to the Magellan Jump Gate, and he docked.
He was in a gunboat, though he didn't seem to want to fight. I asked him to leave, and headed back to NY. As far as I can tell, he left peacefully. Strange for a Hacker...But welcome.
Credit goes to Navy Pilot Tim.Levay for keeping its fire off me, and to an LNS vessel for doing enough damage to drive it off. My sensor logs do not have the LNS vessel's ID, and with all the excitement I seem to have forgotten. Sorry about that.
Also, I have decided to apply for a SWAT position, so that I'm not so useless against larger vessels.

Well, it was a relatively eventful night last night... first it started off with a xenos assault on manhattan. When I arrived on the scene several navy ships were already engaged along with a ship of the new "cutter" service.
Now.. I dont know where the navy gets off claiming to be such great pilots but they all were destroyed pretty quick, leaving me and a few other scattered ships to deal with the xenos. Finally there was only 2 xenos left when an ION storm hit and the battle was quickly ended. Good thing too.. cause there was a fleet of rogue/outcast/hacker ships approaching, waiting to pick off the winners of that battle.
With the recent pirate activity we need to pick up our patrols....
Finnally I encountered a few ships with expired licenses... and one junker holding several LPI pilots hostage. I managed to arrange for their release and "fined" the junker 50k credits.
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust
Well then, me and Ken saw some CCS-tagged pirates loitering around California, and despite being outnumbered 2-to-1, we bravely set out to find them vile cur. We found them near Los Angeles, all in Scimitars, and engaged. They dropped like flies. There were only 3, as one had left earlier, but still, each got shot down.
Then the dread gunboat Zamfir showed up, and we engaged it as well after calling for a LC Gunboat report. Unfortunately, it was too slow. We managed to drop his shields twice, but to no avail - a Slipstream, then a Falcata, then a second gunboat all popped up. Desperately outnumbered, Ken was shot down. I beat a hasty retreat as the LC Key West came upon the scene, which was almost instatly overpowered.

Re: Central Information archive
As I am Kitting out and taking the new liberator thru its shakedown, I was wondering if there was a central
Archive of those who are known smugglers, those with proper liscensing (Nomad, Merc, Weapons dealers), and a copy of the current laws of Liberty?
Just an Idea to make life a little easier for all the hard working officers of the Police Force.
