This is a great day for Kusari!
Our cause is just, our will is strong, we will not fail.

I am honored to report the destruction of the Bretonia Armed Forces Battleship "Rodney", surprised unescorted near Tau-31/Leeds Jump Gate
and chased to Planet Harris, where she felt to the Kusari Destroyer Chikuma gun fire and our escort wing.

"Inspired" by this victory, our warriors crossed enemy gates and hit their fleet hard, near Planet Leeds.
At a cost of one bomber all defenders now lies defeated and our forces victorious!

Survivors has been tractored in and several war prisoners will be transferred to the prison ship soon.

subject: Battle report

Emperor's forces engaged bretonia forces in dundee system today. In the start it was 2 of our bombers, 3 chimaeras and 1 LF vs Destroyer, Gunboat, Bomber, 3 Templars and a Hussar fighter. Their bomber exploded for unknown reasons on the very start of the engagement, most probably due to poor quality of it's reactor.

We successfully downed both GB and Destroyer but lost one chimaera in the process, right after that one of our bombers was lost as well. After a long fight two more of their templars as well as the LF went down. One of our ships had to leave due to engine difficulties so it was 3 ships vs 1.

Then suddenly unexpected bretonian reinforcements came. Running low on fuel were were forced to retreat to Tau31. I personally covered the retreat of our fighter and they both reached Nagasaki safely. 3 Ships kept pursuing me and as we reached Holman one more bomber joined them.

I was able to eliminate one more when a Mandalorian Merc arrived as well. Faced with 4 enemies and now critically low on fuel I contacted Nagasaki for fire support. As their ships couldn't face it's firepower they began to retreat but weren't lucky in their attempts and 2 more fell to my guns.
Seeing this and knowing he had no chance against Battleship firepower, the mercenary left the fight.

subject: Battle report

While on board the Chikuma in Tau31 after an earlier successful attack in Dundee, our Gaian friends informed me about suspicious activity in Leeds system. I took my bomber and decided to have a look.

And indeed there it was 2 Corsairs fighting 3 bretonians between the JG and Stokes. I kept distance and watched another of those Corsairs die. At that point I decided to even the odds and attacked the bretonians.

The last corsair soon went down as well, so it was me vs 3 brets. The bomber went down rather quickly as well as another Templar, but for every destroyed Templar another one came in.
After 5 ships were destroyed it was cleard, but long range scanners reported GB and 2 more Templars approaching, so I left back to Tau 31 system unnoticed and reached Nagasaki safely.

My ship however had to be declared total loss after multiple hits to crucial components. I hope replacement will be delivered shortly.

subject: Battle report

As my new bomber was not yet delivered I conducted today's patrol on board the Chikuma. While in Dundee I received coded transmission from Islay about significant Bretonian forces approaching my location. I contacted nearby patrolling KNF forces and decided to make a stand at the Tau 31 JH.

Soon a destroyer and a bomber came in range. After some initial targeting confusion among my escorting fighters the destroyer started to take a pounding. Fight was rather swift but dangerous to all sides, twice the Chikuma actually flew trough that ugly hole in the Bretonian destroyer. In the end the destroyer exploded from the combined fire and only the bomber remained.

He showed some bravery by staying in the fight and not option to run, but he was not careful and soon a Light Mortar wrecked his ship.

Chikuma took on board survivor and flew back to Nagasaki for minor repairs. 120 nanobots and 0 shieldbatteries were used in the fight.

...Subject: The "Weedalot" destroyed in Sigma-13

Our forces responded to alerts of Golden Chrisanthemums presence in Sigma-13/Honshu/New Tokyo.
Even with all the efforts we was not able to intercept as they managed in some way to get past us and retreated in Hokkaido.

Scanners were still showing some pirate activity in Sigma-13 and our GMG contacts there were not responding so the Chikuma jumped in system to investigate the unclear situation and to make sure any GMG personnel at Naha was not in danger.

While returning to Honshu the Chikuma picked up signals coming from Sigma-19 jump hole and spotted "Weedalot", a known criminal to Kusari and another junker of which I miss visual confirmation actually.
I was called in reinforcement by the Chikuma and jumped in system too with my fighter.

After having dealt with the junker full of slaves and saved survivors, we passed to Weedalot that was found with engines offline near the jumphole and full of cardamine.

Since no one from the ship was responding to comms, our forces dropped her shields and boarded her.
I will spare the details on the inside situation as a full medical report can be acquired directly from our medical section if necessary.

The Captain was apparently missing, he may have been warned of our presence in the sector and escaped in a pod before our forces arrived.
We have then to assume he is still alive.

After having arrested Weedalot "survivors", the ship autodestruct sequence was enabled by Chikuma's technicians and detonated with the cargo.

I regret to inform you that the proud KNF vessel Chikuma was destroyed yesterday by a combined force of GC fighter, GC bomber, BAF bomber and Liberty Rogue Gunboat while defending civilians near Osaka Storage Factility in Honshu. The damaged ship made it almost all the way to Hiroshima before exploding so whole crew was rescued by reinforcements coming in the opposite direction.

I have taken command of a new Destroyer class vessel, fresh off the Yukawa shipyard, it was named Mogami. I will make sure it will serve as honorably as Chikuma did.

I was scouting in Leeds system when Yoritoro came to reinforce me and we surprised by a Templar and a Destroyer. With the help of a little deception at Stokes I managed to draw the attention of the destroyer and we jumped to Tau 31 successfully.
Both bretonians followed, and fighting continued. But after a long fight the Destroyer fled heavily damaged:

The remaining templar wasted to time running towards McDuff. Then a group of 4 Outcasts arrived and a newly arriving BAF requested them to "help"

Outnumbered in hostile territory we left for holman where a stand-off ensured. During this one of the bretonians deactivated his engines when transmitting for reinforcements which proved a crucial mistake as his ship exploded.

Gaian gunboat arrived at the scene and started fighting the Outcasts. We joined the fight and on first pass I managed to shot off supernova from one of the enemy bombers. The Gaian proved very skilled and blasted two of the Outcasts, while I destroyed the 3rd one.

Then a new bretonian force arrived, gunboat and templar this time. Gunboat was soon destroyed by our combined firepower and the Templar fled yet again, after this the last outcast was destroyed as well.

For his actions during this battle I recommend Yoritoro for promotion.

Subject: daily report

Building of my chimaera fighter was completed and now is fully operational and in service with equipment under standards of KNF.

My first day in service was full of chalenges. Maybe too much for unexperienced pilot. It was unexpected honor to serve first day with legendary captain Saburo Sakai and his famous bomber Kanadzuchi. Sensei Sakai gaved me many lessons today and I thank him it was on real field. I must thank to our oponents from BAF and to outcasts... they were nice punching bags for my practice. I hope I was more than handicap for sensei Sakai in that battle, more about that is writen in his report.

But I had another one teacher today... enemy pilot showed me how much unskilled I realy am and destroyed my new chimaera in 20 second fast battle. It was luck she didnt killed me and left my escape pod untouched. It is shame it happend after that nice fight which I had before and my personal dishonour I didnt remember her name... doctor said it is concussion of the brain but that cant take out the fact I hadnt instaled camera on my ship. My pod was saved by one of Kishiro vessels. 4 hours in light coma wasnt enough time to think about whole day. I spend rest of night in buddhist temple Four mountains on New Tokio planet in Kaezetomi district.

Ill be ready for service tomorow at standard time on my roster.

After escorting a ship hauling Deuterium trough bretonia to Honshu I went back to Dublin system, since I was informed about substantial Bretonian force in the area.

There I found Gunboat and 3 fighter bothering CR who were racing their Viper around the track. The CR basically ignored the bretonians and relied on Hood firepower to cover them.

I swept in and destroyed 2 of the Templars, last one fell to Hood's firepower. The gunboat was severely damaged as well and I follow it to Leeds system.

There at the planet a lone Hussar engaged me but was dealt with as well.

Learning about Yoritoro's fortune in New Tokyo I proceeded there at best speed. After some search the treacherous woman was found in Sigma 13 fighting one of the Farmers.

I engaged her and destroyed her ship with my mine on first pass.
