Serious problems

ID's aren't easy to confuse.

Hood had obviously scanned him or he wouldn't have seen the artifacts, so he saw what ID was actually on that ship, plus it was the SNS tactical Hood character.

Which is a BHG destroyer, if you can afford the ship you should already have your rep sorted out and either be able to get or have the ID.

Everyone else seems to manage it pretty well.

That's a good question now.. Curious as to why you didn't have the ID Mystac? or did you have a nuetral/freelancer ID? if so nevermind you didn't break any rules.

Still even *if* mystac had no ID or a Civilian ID that's not an excuse to behave the way he did. Atleast IMO. But really the two of them should sort this out between themselves.

Summery:

MystacX; Wrong ID, with a Destroyer character. Smuggling in house space as a lawful character (though he might have had a real reason for that). (maybe) Wrong tag.

Hoodlum; After being repulsed, he flamed and bashed MystacX. Amount, and depth currently unknown.. In OOC.

Both are at fault. Mystac should have had the correct ID and Tag, at least the ID long before. If he had enough time to buy and use a destroyer, he had enough time to get his ID and rep. Unless he had the governments approval (SF space I presume?), that of the SF's he should have been carrying any contriband.

Hoodlum, shouldn't have flamed Mystac, perhaps point out he needed the correct ID, and not to carry artifacts into house territory. The flaming, however went beyond what he should have said.

Both are equally at fault. Mystac needs to buy his ID, hoodlum needs to leave him alone, or at least not bash and flame him.

Sounds good to me. I would like verification on what ID he has on his Destroyer. I thought I made a good point of people getting their ID's when they got their ship. :/

Ok Dab you are completely wrong. Again i was speaking to hood on skype at the time. Hood did NOT flame Mystac he merely pointed out that he was smuggling in house space under the noses of the SF (as he dropped it before Badger scanned him. Hood also told me that on skype) and that he was going to mention it in the forums, it was Mystac that Flamed Hood with the reply he made.

I don't see Mystac flaming Hood for any reason unless Hood gave him due reason for it (IE wording when informing him of rules may have been poor, or flaming)

Alpha, where you in system chat? If no, that means you are viewing a one-sided story with only Hood's views on what happened which leads you to speak about it with only one side of the story. So, if you weren't in the system and saw the exchange of text yourself. Please stop posting details with only one side of the story.

EDIT: I agree with dab, they both need to post a full story.

Why?

Like angel said, like the server console messages say, report cheating or abuse to the admins either ingame or on the forums.

The admins have asked people to PM this sort of thing to them instead of starting these flaming threads.

Having both of them post their versions will get everyone nowhere.

Mystac threw a tantrum after hood pointed out to everyone in the system that he was carrying artifacts, thats it.

Mystac has admitted to carrying the artifacts and that he dropped them.

End of story.

If theres a screenie of mystac swearing then post it, otherwise this thread can die or be closed.

Both the RM and SF have in their faction posts that if the NPCs think it's illegal so do they.

Mystac has already posted what he said happened, the 'one-sided story' thing is totally rubbish.

I prefer the "Let it die" option. We have a vast number of threads that include flaming, and it's getting a little old.

In fact, could we get a moderator to just come in and lock this thread? End it now before it get's worse? (Would do it myself, but I'm not a mod. Good thing too... I would have locked a great many threads)

Marauder, like DO said, you have Hoodlum's side. One sided story. We cannot give it too much weight. We need either full reports of what happened by both sides, or by a bystander. It would be really good if one of the SF who were on posted what happened. But of course, this really should go to an admin as Marauder says. However its already here and we can do nothing about it.

So either we leave the thread alone for now until the Admins get the full story and post, or we try solving it here. Best idea is to have admins do it.

EDIT: Kane beats me to it AGAIN. So option #3, Moderator lock the thread and let admins deal with it, fully.
