Dusty's idea of big transports for the houses is kinda already there. bump the house transports cargo's up to between 4500-4900, and there you have it. Else, the Bretonia Container Transport fills this role for Bretonia and it's own unique ship?

Give the Armored Transport a CD and a slight increase in hold size at the cost of it's ability to use Transport Turrets and shields, and you've got a fairly decent little blockade runner / privateering vessel. I'd use it.

I had a suggestion a while back about a light-gunship thing, with 3-4 fighter turrets and 2 GB turrets. Maybe maneuverability on par with the AT and such. now THAT would be a funboat. :)

Problem: fighter guns and gunboat guns have VERY different speeds and ranges, which will make combining them near impossible.

didn't say it'd be an easy thing to fly. Weapon groups mainly would solve this problem though. Power management would be a key to this little guy too.

Maybe 10 salvos with GB Primaries. maybe bomber energy core...not sure on that one, don't know cores very well.

HMM well I would say Lib idea is excellent, rheinland excellent (Will pm ya query on that), and Kusar is excellent (:Djust another thing to shoot down)

Ideas for Bretonian special craft: First A SUPER CARRIER, very least a Carrier
Second Battle Cruiser a great idea
Third idea: a Mid ship between a batt ship an a Dreadnaught say something with a dreads firepower and a lot more speed.
Fourth idea: a unique ship class that no house has
Fifth: a unique cruiser
Sixth: An antique cap ship modified to be as powerful if not more powerful. should have speed and armour maybe a few specialised weapons specific for this class that would be able to go toe to toe with any situation. It doesnt have to be an antique ship could be any sort of ship a middle strengh cap ship revamped for any situation. It would be perfect for when ya jump in an your fighting a battleship with a heavy fighter/bomber escort.

Anyways if any ship is made I think it should look absolutely unique in looks to other ship designs even to the point it defies style maybe but not colour then it would also show it as being unique from the rest of the fleet.

The current medium transports for each house are exactly that, no need to replace them. Not everyone is rich enough to buy an adv. train. They're ladder steps.

A new batch of super transports for each house would be lovely.

As for light gunships: Jinx made one.
As for light bombers: Last time I was going around the block everyone thought that was a horrible idea, for good reasons too.
As for more freighters: Always lovely.
As for cannon mounting caps: Igiss said no.

Bretonia could use a more compact gunboat, that's the truth.
Kusari doesn't need a battle cruiser, they need their current cruiser given a size increase to be in line with the other houses and a size decrease to the battleship so it doesn't dwarf New Tokyo.

I'm not even so much the carebear, but more variety in trade ships is an easy way to add a little color to our skyscape without much hassle.

1. Kusari destroyer is a vanilla model so it will not be getting size changes anytime soon.

2. By your logic Bretonian dessie should be made smaller cause it is larger from front than the battleship and on similar not Rheinland Cruisers should be much bigger cause RH BS dwarfs them.. or I guess we should decrease size of RH Battleship? And while we'r at it increase size of Liberator and decrease Werewolf....

and by time we are done we have 300 exactly same ships.

How about (for a Bretonian skiff or whatever) a very light gunboat with something like 8 forward-firing fighter turrets (only 2 or 4 which can fire backward as well), and a forward cannon (and CD, of course). No GB turrets at all, just the cannon. Size and maneuverability somewhere around the Armored Transport.
