So I excitedly went out and bought GTA IV for PC yesterday, sat setting it up and registering on the three (yes THREE) different registration pages, downloaded and installed XP SP3 and then finally got it going on my PC...
ooohh.. NICE, I see a car and nothing else.

gah!
still crap graphics...
So I jump onto teh internetz to see whats wrong with my 'puter and.....
...wait for it...
IT IS BUGGY FOR EVERYONE WHO BOUGHT THE DAMN THING!
I have to wait for a game patch and a seperate patch from ATI because besides the standard bugs, ATI cards are crashing the game.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE....
The people who own NVidia cards are lucky, they can download beta software with no garuntees as to whether it wil work or not.. hahahahahahaaaaaa.
AND
The only way to save your game....
...is to head to your safehouse and PAUSE THE GAME WHILE YOU ALT TAB TO THEIR ONLINE SAVEGAME FACILITY!

Unbelievable!
*shakes head and scratches neck in utter frustration*
The little faith I had in Rockstar games is completely lost. The not working part is bad enough, but online requirement for a game save? C'mon... What the hell is wrong with PC game publishers? Stop the DRM madness!
