Wondering if such a faction excists...

It's unfortunate as no other faction takes so much crap as Bounty Hunters, but no other faction has had so many who just abuse the tag as an excuse to go blow up every red-HUD player in the biggest ship they're willing to powertrade for.

Well, technically this is in-RP for everyone else =P nobody likes bounty hunters, except maybe the zoners - who only like them because they bring money to freeports.

Criminals hate bounty hunters because, well... most bounty hunters are ex-criminals working for the 'law' and as such know all the hiding places those criminals use - they're hard to run from, hard to avoid, and hard to kill.

Lawfuls hate bounty hunters because most of them used to be criminals, and because most bounty hunters dont particularly pay attention to house laws - they're a rogue security force that answers to no one.

Bounty hunters, in general, are hated by everyone - they should get used to it, because that's how it's supposed to be. Problem is, most of us hate bh players because of the pvp and capship abuse, not because of RP reasons.

Not true:laugh: As known criminal I have nothing against bountyhunters doing their job (collecting bounties) in everything small than cruiser... it is just work. I hate those BH craps in BC with ftpwn syndrom and rest of BH acting like police without bounty on their target.

But you lot are right. I have seen too many hunters just blast away with no RP other than "he`s a pirate, he must die". I like to RP the part as good as possible but even good hunters are being bashed right now...

on a sidenote: I`m no capwhore who likes to slaughter pirates in fighters etc. I started playing this game because the capship fights really appealed to me. what`s sweeter than 2 fleets with massive ships duking it out?:cool:

unfortunatly, there are very few hunters who agree with me on this. I guess I`ll park my BC in the omicrons and just blast nomads and get into a occasional RP fight with the Order.

we do not ask for 5 years of playtime. I've been here for a year, and my first battleship was bought... 4 months after I joined?
I just do the roleplay. If you cant do that, please dont spoil this server with abusive pvp and leave.

With how you are started, you are on the track to that door, I'm afraid.

Don`t get me wrong: I do the RP. What frustrated me a little is the fact that good rp-ing hunters suffer under the trigger happy ones. I can barely rp my BC in Gamma without being adressed with less charming vocabulary.

In regards to the incident the junker reported: I was there and I saw it happen. that is exactly the thing I hate most about some hunters these days...:angry:

The unfortunate reality of such a well populated server is the loss of personal freedom(s). However many good hearted, and even good actioned people there may be is often not enough to outweigh the very unfortunate and unappealing actions of others.

Okay guys..painting all BH's with the same brush is not the best thing to do (that goes for every faction out there too). We need to welcome these guys and not demand they fly the ships that WE think they should fly.

Some players are more comfortable in capital ships, some players have such a high ping that caps are all they can really fly... Either way, cut the guy some slack because the ones we really have a problem with don't even know how to get to these forums or don't bother to read them.
