Set Condition "Prickle Prickle".
(By now, you are fully aware who the "Prickles" are.)
Effective immediately, Baffin is locked down. All TAZ vessels not involved in defense or evacuation of Gran Canaria are ordered home. All other ships entering Baffin are to be stopped, inspected for possible Coalition infiltrators, and turned back if their answers are not sufficiently shiney in regards their dealings with the Coalition.
I am shocked and appalled by the violence perpetrated by the SCRA fleet while evacuting its Enclave on Gran Canaria. The Temporary Autonomous Zoners hereby unilaterally declare the Revolutionary Army of the Coalition as hostile.
I have received word from Spike Harris that the [TAZ]Crater.Lake was able to gain control after being severely damaged in the SCRA attack, and managed to set down at Alan Kell's lake of the same name. Spike and Kate and their crew are shaken up, but unharmed.
Shamus, the Flagheap will remain on station at the Omega 50 hole until all TAZ personnel are accounted for and evacuated from Port Canaria.
Fowler, lock up the Cafe. Spike, effect minimal required repairs, and then get our people out of there.
Mad John and Matrix, find Mama Dis and any CoZ Delegates who may need a ride home.
Appendix Gimmel predicted this, dammit, but I was too blind to foresee exactly what form the prediction would take. I will be in the Geode consulting the Goddess if needed.

Righto Mama.. I'm about to set off from Grand Canaria. I've had a slight delay because me little sweetheart, Suzi, is still packing and won't leave 'til her hair 'n' makeup's right, it's more than me life's worth to lift when she's still in her rollers and no eyeliner!
But that's given me a chance to pick up half a dozen stray passengers... You'll be glad to know that Lucy Legs from the Bar is on Board along with Phil "The Pie" who is bringing his recipe book. So Good Lookin' and Good Cookin'!
Lucky LeRoux is still here (in Gran Can) on the Fox Electra.... I told him to Haul his butt over to Baffin soonest fer safety's sake... He ain't a TAZ believer, but a true Zoner never the less and he needs to get out of this mess.
Anybody else (or anything) left to pick up?....leaving within the hour....
Lads I'm on me way home as we speak. I've toasted those lost to the bloody Coalition, and will be on Canaria providing drinks for our pilots, and also giving patrolling a shake myself.
I haven't fought since I did a little stint in the BAF, but I'm ready to defend us tooth and nail!
Also, cutting back on the alch consumption for duration of crisis me trouts, got to be on my toes for this laddies.

Me picture there is of myself in the middle, Shamus (R.I.F-23) on the right, and my good friend Baldrick.
On the gripping hand, Shamus reports safe delivery of all our silverware from Sophie's, along with a gross of freshly made pies to comfort the refuges he transferred as well. The Flagheap is once again taking up half of Baffin's space and intimidating lost traders who don't read the News.
I haven't caught up on the Council's deliberations yet today. Until you hear otherwise, continue to act as our Lady's Chastity Belt in Sirius.

I am happy to report that I flew Doc's ship, the Mary Kate, safely off of Canaria and am currently on the planet Honshu. Due to a large grouping of pirates in the area, didn't want to damage his ship and have no access to his credits, I felt it best to stay put for now. Unless Doc heals up before hand, I will get it safely to Shasta at my first opportunity.
Doc was safely evactuated for medical treatment thanks to a trader. I have received a report from Commander Matok that Doc is still quite ill but recovering. Apparently, he had a bad relapse of the tuberculosis that he was finally finding some relief from. I have no doubt that he will be fine in due time.

As my first officer has reported, Doc's ship is safely in Kusari. Dakaar has done us proud, flying a ship he had no experience in. Asides hitting a few asteroids, it is safe. Good work, Dakaar.
As for the rest of us, we stood fast outside of Canaria as we monitored the SCRA in nearby Omega 52. It was amazing those who came to assist and maintain a watch. The \JG/ Juggernaut Komodo was present and if I do say so myself, it is an awesome and beautiful ship. Erinloch also made a presence as did Kallista and some others independent Zoners and one Freelancer.
Also present was a Hacker Gunship. Interesting to say the least. At the request of us all, they kept 5k from the planet but seemed to be taking a watch on our behalf.
One observation. I'm not sure that a lock down is all that feasible. I see alot of traders willing to take the risk of running deuterium. IMO, I think it would be better to warn all traders that they are on their own risk.
Oh yes, and a Resistance of the Order wanted passage to Dublin from Omega 47. Anyone know much about him? I know the Order are our allies but they are also affiliated with the SCRA as I understand it. He passed through the system, staying clear of Canaria so I guess he was true to his word.
How many times have I told Doc.. A week in the Geode and those lungs will be cleaner than a hound's tooth, guaranteed. Remember the Nayehiya Plague? A little case of consumption is child's play in comparison.
Right then, catching up on a few other stickies stuck to my various appendages:
A hefty donation was received at the Temple from one "Moon_Cursor". Honorary Mason status if he's ever in hailing distance, eh?
We've a new TAZ, lads.. the fair maiden Aldonza, aboard the [TAZ]DulcineaDelTobosa. Rolls off the old tongue, doesn't it? Kallisti!
Another potential Pineal, this Jack.Tate fellow.. although he's having trouble picking a sufficiently Holy-roll-y ship name, expect to see him amongst he Acolytes shortly, workin' for those coveted Pope stripes.
A mysterious ship was seen by Spike Harris and the other PickeTAZ near Canaria today, sporting the [TAZ] colors, which had miraculously replaced his previous vessel name, the "Cabbage". However, after a close pineal examination by Pope Harris, the gent agreed to lose the tag until such time as he might be called by Eris.
Lockdown of Baffin continues. Hopefully the Council will unlock Canaria soon so that supplies can start rolling in again. Until then, provide escort to any suspicious characters passing through either system. And as Matok pointed out, probably the best we can hope to lock down anyway is the space around Gran Canaria.
Continue to avoid the Coalition if atall atall possible. If our estranged friends want a furball, they'll be the ones kicking.. we won the toss to receive this time.
If you have any concerns or questions.. i dunno.. talk to a Diplomat.

Oi, Moon Curser is a common sight these days. I too have received a hefty donation to the Temple. Let me know where you want it forwarded to. Also Sirusly.Movin' also has donated a hefty sum. Again, who's collecting the plates today? Well, I'm holding steady at the last RV park. Let me know if you need me, Will have patrols in Baffin stepped up, and if I happen across the interloper, I will politely ask him to refund the bounty price, as is fitting of course. Good travels gents, ladies, and globes. Oh and you few animals if you are out there monitoring! Ha!
