Mephistoles
I was thinking of just numbers for prefixes of systems, perhaps something like the NGC system. Maybe like... Uncharted System 001 US-001. There should be new systems that dont have a name. Remember King, in the SP campaign, said "rhienland explorers found artifacts on a planet in an unknown system)
Well, we know that as modern day Omicron Theta. Which is quite crowded now-a-days. Where are the new discoveries, did Sirius just stagnate? I know gallia was "discovered" but thats different.
Look at the current map (plus my failure paint skills) and see where you would think new prefix'ed systems could go, and what their format would be. (I.E. the Omega's characteristics are rocky, lavafields, orange backgrounds, Sigmas are GMG-style gas clouds, ect)

i agree, there isnt enough discovery. Within 100ly of the sun there are over 500 G type (which constitute about 30% of all stars) stars alone! Why should sirius be so empty by comparison?
