RepEx Train 501 here, sorry for the long time in the dark HQ but it's busy times and the profits keep arollin in. Jenny's doin swell; Jennys the callsign of my trucktrain and a did a little custom paintin on her ass if you guys don't mind; nothin much to report in the way of pirates, nifty piloting and choice of time for trading gets my back like a butt crack. Apart from a few blasts from the ol dead sun in Omega 41 my ship's doin just fine, few expenses on repairs but I recon i've diverted enough money to HQ to keep me solid for a few months now.

Guten Tag,

Today, as i began the trading for RepEx for the first time, I was taxed on the route on three seperate occasions! I am absolutely outraged! The first time was from an Outcast in a Gunship and he only asked for one million credits, which i accepted. I then got taxed again by another pirate, this time a corsair. He was in a gunboat and ordered me to either drop my cargo or pay four million credits! I was forced to accept this, here are pictures from the Comm channel during this incident:



As i made my way to the Cambridge jump gate, i was confronted by another corsair of the Vilkas. I told him i had already paid one of his kind, but he did not listen to me. He ordered me to pay another two million credits or be destroyed! By this time i had had enough and made a break for the gate, which i successfully activated. I tried to run on the other side but i could not, and i was forced to pay him the two million credits.

I finally made it to Planet Cambridge, only to find this math as i arrived:
one million credits for the cargo, two million credits profit each run, -seven million credits from the taxing, and i am left with -six million credits for this run. From my first run with RepEx i have made -6 million credits! Unbelieveable! I suggest a bounty on the Vilkas as there taxing is unfair and cruel.

After several un-eventful trade runs I was hauling economy passangers to Munich and ran into 2 prison liners belonging to the Slavers Union. We took refuge at Freeport2 until they passed. After I made it back to New berlin I assisted |716 with setting up his ship and aquiring the specified ID/IFF. then we visited Cambridge and on the way back ran into Augis|Sirijus in a Corsair gunboat, he extorted 3 million credits from me after damaging James (716). We dropped off our cargo at The Ring and I clocked out while James orgainzed repairs for his Train.

What follows is an activity report detailing my first few days with the company, I'm sorry I will not be able to be precise with days, they all seem to blend together on the bridge of my Train:

Several days ago I received help setting up from Alan Groteck, who I must say seems to be an exceptional trader. We then went on a standard NB-Cambridge-NB run and ran into a little pirate trouble on the way back as noted in Alan's report. Although I am concerned about the piracy I find the lack of available escorts more disturbing. Most of the time I stick to local system trade for precisely that reason. On a side note though I find during peak trade times pirate activity can be reduced as there are more other trade ships that have escorts flying through the lanes.

The next day I helped Jeremy Isaacs (ID: 524) acquire his ID and IFF. He had acquired a whale having been told to by another employee who's name alludes me, I didn't know RepEx flew those. As such it was a little difficult for him to acquire an IFF but I was happy to lend a hand. I also did a fair deal of prison populating (my term for the Nueremburg run).

Last but not least, today I went on a NB-Cambridge-NB run with new pilot Peter Strauss (ID:019) after he had gotten his ID and IFF. On this run there was no pirate activity most likely due to the large amount of other traders passing through the same systems with escorts. This concludes my report.

I have made a good deal of profit trading recently and wish to upgrade my ship. As I seem to have lost my RepEx operations manual I would like to ask if there are any restrictions on ships you allow in the fleet. Right now I'm looking at the large train but thinking about the heavy tanker as well, I've heard the advanced train has no handling which makes me fairly certain I don't want that. If more than one of these ships is acceptable I would also love a recommendation.
