Why is the Order listed as hostile? I'm sure the LWB had their fair share of run-ins with the Nomads during the mass infestation in Rheinland during the Nomad War.
It was primarily because an Order vessel destroyed an LWB ship at one point and we haven't fully sorted out that diplomacy yet.
Seems odd to jump to hostile after one isolated experience. And it would seem that if diplomacy is in process, neutrality would be in place. You wouldn't want a rookie pilot seeing them as hostile and getting trigger-happy, ruining all attempts at diplomatic relations.
Our diplomacy with the Order (and by extension, Nomads) is a bit... unusual. As it has to do with several diffrent faction members.
The incedent with the order took place a while ago, when they attempted to investigate LWB|Udo.Ackermann. Previously, Udo had been repeatedly tourmented by Die Wilden, and the Order agent was apparently there to try and forcibly investigate Udo for infestation. Johann.Steinlaufer was immedietly suspicious of an order agent trying to investigate one of his own under Duress. The incedent escalated and eventually resulted in the Order agent and Johann shooting at each other.
Udo came out to see what was going on, and was instructed by Johann to flee. Udo was naturally terrified to the point of wetting himself and fled into the Omega systems and toward Omicron Theta, and was chased down and eventually scanned by the Order agent. Paranoid and scared, he continued to flee into oblivion, eventually ending up in Hokkaido. There he remained for a few weeks, addicted to Cardamine and swooning over the GC. Unfortunately, his charm failed in Lady Kurisho, Ironwatsas, and Naomi Ichiyusai, and he ended up chased back to Rhineland.
But the damage was already done, and the Order did little to help matters on their side.
Subsiquently, Udo's normal terror and paranoia about die Wilden has eroded, after an incedent in which Wilde.Abschnitt tried to mind-rape Udo and a female SCRA lieutenant. Udo by this point was building up an immunity to the mind control, while the SCRA was not. Udo managed to save the SCRA and lead her back to Darmstalt. Over the next week, one thing lead to another and Udo ended up having a short and quite illicit affair with two female SCRA officers... at the same time...
Udo assumed Abschnitt is directly responsible for this and now considers him his 'wingman' when persuing his flirtatious agenda. And die wilden seem to enjoy messing with him, using him as a meaty toy/pet.
Was actually quite a fun RP.
Of course, if the Nomads were ever to infest someone he cares about, (Eva.Morgenrot) He'd probably do something stupid like infest himself or charge into Omega-55 screaming over the comms.
So basically, after the incedent where Udo got chased out of Rhineland, the Order have yet to make amends. Hence why the LWB dislikes them. Udo would be scared s**tless and flee in terror if he ever saw one, and I'd suspect Wesley and Johann would attempt to keep they away.
I think the Order would be interested in Wesley as well, in a not-so-friendly manner.
In this case, Orin, it comes as a player event. Fletcher's order came to us, used Darmstadt as a base without asking, and actively hunted Udo Ackermann, which I did witness with my own eyes. Unless they do something to change that occurrence, we'll remember that one Order member that hunted one of our members for no given reason, and was generally quite rude to us.
All in all, it was some very good RP, and the thread is here.
EDIT: Watsas beat me to it. :shok:
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
A Synth Foods event seems like a really good idea to me! Am I mistaken, or is Synth working with S/D? If so, that could be be related. Or did you have any thoughts?
Usual capture the convoy. A convoy is moving with a VIP onboard, LWB jump in, escorts try to fight them off, but LWB beats them and takes over the convoy. S/D also arrives, but LWB beats them too.
