im quite shure the current greyhound is part of the taiidan shipline? as it looks roughly the same, and has the same textures, therefore new greyhound is win!
(night, the model indeed looks great, on the back though, is a little too high for a is it a light fighter? just make a few little tweaks and im shure it could be added:))

I don't get why people hate 'kit bashes'. They are the best combinations in game.
Quality over quantity? Anything that looks like what it's supposed to is quality over the import quantity.
Don't see your point.
Besides, what's wrong with staying true to the origins?
A kitbash ship is a new model, made of all the good stuff.

We like Feedback just like everybody else. Word has it everybody dislikes us, yet no one ever tells us why. I hope you could.
The size of the new model doesnt have to be comparable to the Greyhound, as the Hound has the core of a Templar and Ravens talon, so its size should be idealy at least the size of a Ravens talon (which isnt that big, more long).
'course it'd need two more guns to go with a more reasonable sized ship.
I disagree, one of the things that makes the Greyhound unique is the smaller size, and lower amount of guns in return. If you made it 6 gunned, and bigger, it would lose that flavor.
I agree that it should stay a small, 4-gun VHF, otherwise it's just an improved Wolfhound (or Werewolf or whatever the Mk. 2 Rogue VHF is). I like the model for the most part, but I'm not a fan of the big part sticking way up in the rear. Makes it a much bigger target, even if that is a feature common to the Rogue shipline.
I honestly don't know where people got the idea that this was a kitbash. I used pictures of the Blood/Wolfhounds for reference to help me keep the model looking roguesque, and I modeled the wings and the engines to look like those already on the existing ships. But everything was made from scratch.
I'm still playing around with the model, it's kinda hard to do since I deleted all the hidden faces, and if I resize or move something individually it leaves a big open gap. The common consensus seems to be that the massive hump on the models back is too big. Which means I'm pretty much having to resize the entire back on the ship, while still somehow making the front work well with the back.
I'll post more pictures when I have something.
Ontop of what Orin said about the Greyhound, the Wolfhound only has 5 guns. It makes no sense for a smaller, faster pirate VHF to have more guns that the bigger, slower one. It's about balance.
