I love the new mod so far, yeah it has a bug or 2, but that's why it is in Beta.
But I just noticed something I think makes no sense at all...
You can buy a prison liner in Omicron Eta at an Outcast base. 1st, why would Outcast want a prison liner? They spend most their time avoiding becoming an unwilling passenger on one, so what purpose would it serve to sell one at an Outcast base? Which brings me to question #2, Why not replace the prison liner at Siracuse Base in Eta with the slave liner? Outcasts need slaves & haul them frequently. It would make far more sense to have that ship purchasable at Siracuse than it would a prison liner we really couldn't use would it not?

Just my observation,
Agreed, it is kind of odd to have a prison liner sold at an Outcast base when us Outcasts try to stay off of it.

Rehabilitated ? They are going straight to the Cardi fields. They don't get paid unless us outcasts feel generous man.
Also, I just remembered. Slaves being sold on Malta seems odd as well. We outcasts use them to work our cardi fields and need them all the time. They seem to not last to long when they get out of line so why would we resell them ?

I agree that is a very odd placement for a Prison Liner. However I would like to slave liner to be sold only at its current location. The area is remote and needs something to draw people there. Its not a good idea to have the slave liner in the open anyway because, only 3 ID's can legally operate it.

That's our idea of rehabilitation and a better life. Their lifetime of hard labor is entirely for their own benefit, of course.
Anyway.
It makes sense if you look at it as a cheaper Slave Liner, which is basically what the LPI uses it for anyway. :PAnd that's what a lot of people used it for before there was a Slave Liner.

The Prison Liner is sold there because there needs to be an unlawful location that unlawful can purchase it from. The Outcasts constitute a mini-house all by themselves so they could easily have enough of a crime problem to transport criminals. They also are at war with the Corsairs and could have reason to transport captured pilots of all types in addition to captured Corsairs. If you study the prices for pilots, you'll see a definite logic in the use of the prison liner for unlawful purposes.
