If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
Quote:Vicarious, what a rocking song. I like to play that when I get in pvp battles and it helps me fly better...
Ah yes. But some parts of the rest of that album kind of put me to sleep. For combat I prefer something like Fear Factory or Morbid Angel. Anything that sounds abrassive or bludgeoning can be rather inspiring in battle.

@Nightfall...Queensryche? Impeccable taste my man. Very good, but "I Am I" has to be the best song they've written in my opinion.
Coal Chamber - "Loco"
Fields of The Nephilim - "The Watchman"
Moonspell - "Opium"
The Birthday Massacre - "Lovers End"
The Gathering - "Mandylion"
Nile - "To Dream of Ur"
Chiasm - "Isolated"
Malice Mizer - "Le Ciel"
Diverse bunch. :P

"Back in '86
February and a special number
I just had to know, is this feeling real?
I picked up the phone
..." ........................................................("One and Only", Queensryche, Empire, 1990)
Europe reminded me of "The Final Countdown" and "Carie" back in 1986 those songs were great hits:)
the quote from queensryche... I was listening to that at the moment.
teletubbies? what mothball pile did you get those from? for a moment I started doubting your sanity:lol:
@romer: I got two things in my playlist for the last week: the Queensryche complete discography and The Cult complete discography (at least the official part of it):)
I'm more into the "Warning" and "Rage For Order" they are different, more uncommon, with "Empire" as the best album speaking in production terms. "Promised Land" went into a little more commercial "waters" but I like "I Am I". I couldn't say a single song I like the best.

You've got a point there, Night. I didn't really get into the Promised Land album as a whole. Just the one song. Empire itself was an epic piece of work though, not quite as 'provocative' as Operation: Mindcrime. All of which are brilliant examples of the concept album in my opinion... you can put Fear Factory's Obsolete in that category as well.
Top of the playlist this week: A Perfect Circle - "Pet", "Bleu"
SevenDust - "Black"
Fuel - "Jesus or a Gun"
Operation: Mindcrime is my favorite as a whole, I'm downloading Operation: Mindcrime II atm (it's actually 3rd on the dload list). I just got something called The Cult 7 CD Collectors Set, mainly remixes and some unpublished stuff, guess I'll listen to that for some time:lol:

Wait, favorite song is Ghost Love Score, by Nighwish ^^
I'm a Trader. I always have been, and I always will be. There will be cargo,
There will be Pirates,
There will be weapons,
And there will always be trouble. It's the life of a Trader.
I side with no one unless i see the benefit of it.
