So there we went...after extinguishing the fire that ah recieved from the impact with that battleship....that I still say came outta nowhere!..honest!
Cap'n Toronto and myself...we patrolled from New York through California and into Ontario, Everything was absolutely golden..til we got to the NY Gate in Colorado and then BAM...an unexpected Ion Storm knocked our ships out of action...so ah...here I am makin' this report..ta tell ya that we survived, and the patrol went well...excluding the storm in the end...
Sean Toronto tried, for the umpteenth time to unsuccessfully kick his feet up on the dash, lean back his chair, or assume any posture that wasn't one that only an elementary school teacher gazing upon rows of stiff backed students could love.
The Upholder got the job done, but it sure came up short for casual sloppy comfort. He made a note to see about getting a more LPI standard cockpit installed and, with a few rapid keystrokes, commenced filing his report in uncomfortable fashion.
Captain Toronto After Action Report.
Right then, a day by and large without much incident worth the reporting. The Navy's got the Texas system locked down tighter than a temple virgin, which's given all manner of courage to a number of malcontents traipsing along my fine tradelanes. The Hacker of some renown, Phate, was spotted and engaged by myself along the Westpoint - Mississippi lane in a hacker gunship. The battle was joined in full with the assistance of one Sarah Willows of the Liberty Navy and Jubal Early, a mercenary.
Phate was able to escape, feeling the odds were against him, during a subsequent ion storm spike. To my annoyance.
The second half of my shift was spent in the company of a number of new officers, all of whom performed admirably in personality and common sense. It's no small relief that the next generation might actually have a few marbles between them with the trouble's looming with this new war. I feel they have the skills, guts and common sense necessary to walk the fine line of our organization and wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them for promotion into some gumshoes, or swat vans for that matter.
The hammer strikes once again as the Chief calls out that poor Riza Williams is promoted. His goons pounce and drag her, kicking and screaming, to her brand new Liberator.

Made a patrol of texas with recruit Slade, who demonstrated his ability to scan potential smugglers. Although, several managed to slip by. But not without being caught on the guncam.
An outcast destroyer was also sighted, we called in the navy and they managed to destroy it. I believe that the outcast was attempting to guard a cardamine shipment. Maggard and Slade went to stop him while I changed course to answer a distress call from a trader in California. When I arrived, the transport was being taxed by two rogues. I ordered them to stand down and they refused, the trader made a run for it and I engaged the pirates. One of them was flying an eagle, and the other some sort of bomber. Both attempted to flee after a short battle, but I was able to catch and apprehend the bomber.
I forgot how good it feels to give a pirate what he deserves.

well... that was interesting.
I came across an outcast near fort bush, who then killed two LPI (npcs) right in front of me. That was the last straw. (the first straw was the voice in my head screaming "KILL KILL KILL KRUSH SMASH DESTROY TEAR OUT HIS INTESTINES!!!!!! OUTCAST SCUM!!!! KILL HIM!!!!!") After about 15 minutes, he called in some backup, and I did the same. Officers... uhh... my memory has gone blank, anyway they know who they are, came to my aid. The battle went on for another 10 minutes or so before they called in another ally, then officer whatshisface was taken out by a lucky shot from the bomber. - I should mention they had one sabre, one bomber, and one Light fighter - Officer whosit and I continued, when a passing police gunboat joined in. The outcasts focused fire on him and killed the gunboat. This madness continued as even more joined in against the pirates.
Then, one by one, the outcasts took out all the freelancers, independants, and the like, including officer whosit. Leaving me completely alone against the three. 10 minutes later...
After that I went to help the navy with a nomad invasion that began just as my fight with the outcasts was ending. two hackers took out the nomad. then a navy pilot, a freelancer, and myself took out the hackers.
And the fun just diddnt stop. One of the smugglers from my first report decided to show himself in NY, unfortunately I diddnt have the firepower to take him down before he floated away in a leisurely manner.
I got fed up with the navy who just sat there and watched, and wouldn't help due to "regulations"
In light of this I am enclosing my application for the SWAT team.
End of report.

Fairly normal day to start, but it got weird fast. First off was some Corsair claiming to be with the SCRA. He escaped, but later I ran into him in Cali and shot him up but good.

I am not sure I should be happy, or run away to a remote planet in the Kaleena galaxy. Either way thanks, and while I am at the sucking up, request permission to join SWAT.
Started to Patrol the New York system today with Officer Maggard. Were told a Smuggler had just docked on Planet Manhattan. Said Smuggler claimed he was a freelancer and didn't know diamonds from Rhineland were illegal.
While Maggard was trying to extract the fine from said Freelancer, a Rogue by the name of Roger Jr. Walker and Hacker by the name of Mr Golden vhf ordered us LPI to Land. I promptly retorted with a "Bite me".
Well these two leftovers from the bottom of the gene pool decided they were going to force the LPI out of the New York system and away from Manhattan.
At First, Maggard and I dominated the two of them, so much so the Walker turned on his cruise engines and fled. That left Mr Golden VHF to the two of us, and we almost destroyed him except.....
The rogue (Walker) had returned and gave Golden his regens! He then Re engaged the two of us.
It was apparent that one of the traders nearby were giving out regens to these two also because we would get them down to nothing and then all the suddenly have full shields and hull again!
At this point the mentally stunted twosome scored a lucky hit on Maggard, disabling his ship. His Lifepod made it out and he landed on Manhattan.
Now is was 2 on me, so I redoubled my efforts. I had Golden down to no shield and 1/4 hull, when all the suddenly he had full everything again.
I did my best, but with odds like that, I don't know how long anyone could have held out. After another 15 minutes, all my batteries were used up, I was out of Cruise disruptors, and out of luck. I don't know which one did it, but they punctured my hull, and I had to eject.
End of Report.
