Shigemori took the papers with a straight face, and skipped the bowing - not out of disrespect, but more to leave promptly, without wasting any more of the Commissars time.
Leif promptly enters the room, with an confident stride, salutes commissar Mendel in proper fashion and places his papers and box with words "reccomenation" upon the table.
"Good day comrade commissar, I am Leif Thorvaldsson. I came to join the coalition forces."
He would remain standing in attention like stance.
Pete Donald hated Alberta. He'd only been there twice before - both times being quickly chased out by swarms of Rogue Bloodhounds. The old saying "third time's the charm" held ground this time though. Following the signal emanating from the Trotsky, he managed to avoid all Rogue patrols. Not that he'd have a problem against a lone Rogue patrol in his supped-up Saishi. It was when they clumped up around him in their dozens that they proved troublesome. Clogged up his sensors.
Ten minutes after entering the system, he was following docking instructions from the Trotsky. Five minutes after that, he arrived at the recruitment office and lowered himself onto a seat in what he did not know was referred to as "God's Waiting Room".
[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

With that he would open the box revealing unassembled crossbow with both old and new coalition insignia, each on one side of the stock. There are also three silver bolts in the case.
"Oh, I have just the Commissar for you," he pointed next door. "I think you'd both enjoy this."
Mendel crossed the deck to the small desk in the corner, rearranging the interview schedule so that the youth would be next in line for Krukov. He smiled as he straightened up, nodding in satisfaction as he watched the youth ushered next door by Alicia.
The youth in front of him seemed about to give an answer, however another recruit had entered the room carrying some sort of satchel.
"Hmm. What do we have here eh? Two for the price of one! My goodness, I feel like I'm wandering some sort of special district and you muppets are here to offer me a good time yes? Wrong! This will not be good or fun. Note that I do not leave behind money, but a branding! Ah har!"
He cackled. Then stood up from his chair. He pointed at the new recruit and ordered him to empty the contents of his satchel onto the floor. The crossbow was evident. Vladimir walked over to the spilled contents and removed the reloads, leaving behind only the one shot and placed the crossbow on his desk.
"Now, this item shows many things comrades. It is a tool, it is weapon, it can save your life and deprive others of theirs. I doubt there is much room in the Commandant's fighter corps for both of you, regardless of how short or funny looking the Commandant is."
He looked at them both.
"The previous question remains, Alexj. Do not keep me waiting again."
He turned to the new recruit.
"No life stories and make no attempts to waste my time. Why are you here and why do you want in the Fighter Corps?"
