OOC: Oh bugger. Sorry Firebird. Knew I shoulda had a second coffee before joining the server.
Edit: checked the forums for status before joining and saw HF and Helghast listed as KoS, joined the server, launched and there was an HF BS. Usually only glance at the message text once I'm in battle mode.

No ones fault. Just a situation I shouldn't of let happen. Live and learn.
We will not escort HF into Cambridge, but if HF in Cambridge, do come under attack, we will assist them, and then escort them to their destination. The SF have made many unprovoked attacks on HF flying through, or originating in Cambridge. The HF try to escape from the system, and are fired upon and contained in the system, where SF can destroy them.
Due to this, AW will intervene on the HF's behalf and defend them until all hostile parties stand down. We will not allow the SF to fire on our allies, and will not tolerate any more attacks on our own ships. The SF have fired on an AW treasury ship, an under-equipped Liberty Gunboat, as well as an AW bomber that had made no hostile actions or even threatening actions.
Everytime an HF comes under attack, the AW will assist them, regardless of who is attacking.

The "unprovoked attacks" have come when HF have been in Cambridge and if I remember correctly asked to leave or open refusal of our requests. As for containing an escaping vessel, once engaged in heavy fire do not expect us to yield and let a hostile ship leave the system alive. Leave on the first request and you won't have a problem (feel free to pass this on to HF and Helghast)
Now for the AW vessels. Who the hell fired on AW Treasury ship and why? First I've heard of this. Same with I'm assuming an AW Liberty Gunboat.
As for the bomber we've discussed that and honestly you were AFK in the midst of a battle between HF and SF forces and you yourself have said you weren't present when the kill took place and are going off the word of someone that I still have to talk with, and according to the word of my member he never shot you. And given how much activity there was I wouldnt be surprised if someone else in the system may have taken advantage of the situation (OOC: I've got no clue who killed you, right now its one person's word versus another with no proof for either side except that I've tested out my members guns and they say his name when he kills me not NPC, for all the different types he uses, what weapons cause NPC to be shown when used?).
The HF and Helghast are KOS in Cambridge, given your stance with them advise them to stay out for your benefit.
The treasury ship in question was the Denicalus. It was transporting a Liberty Captain to Omicron Theta. When asked to release a BAF pilot he gained off the corpse of another (another player), he gave it up. But refused when they demanded the Captain. They sent a whole fleet after him, but he escaped to Omega-5. (Just realized it looked like two different ships, but the treasury ship WAS the Lib GB.)
OOC part: the NPC kill message is random. I've killed different people with the same guns, and sometimes get 'killed player' and sometimes get 'killed by NPC' when it happens. There were no hostile NPCs in Bretonia to attack me.
Also I wasn't AFK in the midst of a fight. I went AFK long before the fight took place. Before Korrd logged off even.

K, likely the Liberty Captain was mistaken for a Bretonian. But given our relationship with Liberty why still refuse to either hand him over or drop him off at Cambridge? And why refuse a reasonable request while in Cambridge?
Back to Bomber
The story I'm getting from several witnesses is that the kill took place after the battle started (2 enemy vessels dead then you, supposedly). Ie, the battle began when you were AFK. You're right my choice of words is a little off, sorry. You went AFK in the midst of HF and SF forces squaring off which then turned into the battle in which you died. You knew a fight was coming just didn't expect it to occur when you were AFK. The point is you died in the midst of the confussion of a battle, that's what i meant to say. It may not have been Exeter, but my guess is a member defending Cambridge (SF or other) did kill you likely because they thought you weren't AFK.
If cargo had been lost I would offer compensation, since that is not the case. My apologies for your death while AFK but in all likelyhood it was an accident.
OOC: Dab and I alraedy solved this. I thought he had said something about HF taking in the captain for questioning; apparently, it was not him, but someone else.
It was my mistake.

Retired A very big thanks to Dark Oddity who put my signature pic together
Under the advisement of Captain Hyperwave, I'm pleased to confer on to thekillerppodl the rank of lieutenant in the SF. This is a result of noted activity and presence both in-game and on the forum. Congratulations and take pride in your new rank. Pass out the good stuff:crazy:
Also, Cylon's are now hostile in Cambridge...duh on my part:rolleyes:
Be advised AW has officially asked all SF vessels to stay out of Theta. All SF vessels are to abide by their restriction even if AW ships are present in the system or not.
