Beta is great. Lots of fun especially team games of 2v2.
Worth a try.
Looks amazing too if you have the hardware. Runs great on low spec computers.

Run this in windows in the Run command line. Pre-Loads RUSE Free Weekend. :yahoo:
15th to 19th of this month. Its a 1.8GB download. I have it loading and ready. Diddn't get to try it on my HD4850 yet so cant wait to see the results.
RUSE is a fun game though.
Really interesting and I enjoyed my time in both Betas.
Only thing that will hold be back though from potentially getting it. Ubisoft DRM, still cant see myself spending 50+ bucks on a game I can't play when and where I want if I have the hardware. I'll play it once the price goes down or its on sale.
I tried it. It was meh. Had a lot of beta-expected errors like low FPS, random crashes, and glitches. I reported what I found and uninstalled the game. It's not really much for strategy, just blitzkrieg. You build as many tanks and airplanes as possible and swamp your enemy.
Co-op was more fun, in my opinion. You coordinate with your teammates to do certain things, like overrun them with jeeps and infantry while you take some time to build heavier stuff. I liked to be the defense guy, putting all of my resources to building artillery and anti-air guns along the borders of my ally and myself.
Please note that when R.U.S.E. is released in September, it will benefit from Valve's Steamworks API to offer the best community experience to players. Consequently, a Steam account and Internet connection will be required to activate the game, as per Steam policy. For this reason, R.U.S.E. will not use the Ubisoft protection. Single player can be played offline.
