Here are several redesigned/new backplates I made for my game, please comment.

Note, these plates are the backdrops for a 2D space game. They have been reduced by 15% in quality for uploading and they are supposed to be nebular.

The full ones still are pixelly.
What are they for? (I know the game, but:)
Seeing splotches of red and green on black with round white dots means nothing.
Looks like a badly drawn piece of steak and moldy bread to me.

What is the context of each picture? what's it for?

Spend more time upgrading your graphics skills.
Go study some older games to see how they did it.
Solar winds, Duke Nukem I, II , UFO , even Paganitzu has better stars than your current batch.

Keep trying. Keep refining.

they are to be rendered in a window at 1024x768 resolution, their quality was slightly reduced for the upload, and they are supposed to be nebular objects.
