Deputy Toronto felt, rather than heard, the thud of the chiefs massive bulk collapsing to the reinforced deckplating of the LPI bullpen. The stars, peered through the thin window his post allotted, shuddered in their sockets as the base compensated the force of the blow with a brief axial twitch. A shrill cry for help followed.
He reached around his desk, found a cane, and pushed his office door close before returning to his morning paper.
Assisted a fellow officer with getting his upholder up and running, then moved down to texas for embargo duty. A pirate transport came straight through the trade lane hauling a massive load of cardamine... I almost spilled my coffee. The target fled for some distance, attempting to evade me. I managed to catch up and began tearing apart his ship... Once again proving that Magma Hammers are the greatest invention since the tazer.
The contraband spilled into space, leaving a nasty mess. Officer Marlow who had just finished setting up his upholder came to surround the area in zero-gravity police tape while I got the "AllYourBase" to collect the evidence, which was then taken to the evidence lockers on planet Manhattan.
On a completely unrelated matter, An anonymous donation was made to the LPI immediately after landing with the evidence.

Started off the day by getting all the gear that a recruit needs together. afterwards, i might have partnered with Mrs. Lauren Myers. Who knows. But before being told to do do by Sir Bauer. I don't think she took it well though. Before that though, the day started with a firefight with a guy who calls himself Logic Bomb. Fortunately for us, it went down well. unfortunately, i now owe that there station a little bit of cash for the paint job i ruined.
After that, there was a little standoff with a Louie the Lip, a licensed liberty rogue. I think he was caught carrying pilots. I believe that this was taken care of though.
Finaly, I had my little adventure with a man hauling nomads. While i was trying to figure out the legality of such a cargo in our space, some outcasts, not affiliated to him, came in and gave me a chance to test your fine ejector seats. I can assure you they performed to spec boss.
So I was running a patrol, West Point was my first stop. I heard from Officer Amy McTavish that a trader named Bob_The_Trader was on the KoS list for smuggling and embargo breaking. So I warned him, and I opened fire. He escaped and my Cruise Disruptors missed him. Officer McTavish and I chased him into California, but he was to far ahead to catch. He escaped into the Cortez system, but I didn't follow. That is out of our jurisdiction.
Be on the lookout for this guy.
There has a been a disturbing amount of reports about ships that are hauling slaves having been seen in Liberty space. Consequently, the LPI is going to open a dossier folder on these individuals. If you encounter slavers during your patrols and interact with them, please document their name, ship type, take a gun cam pic, and any other distinguishing features that may help us identify them in the future. This information will be shared through the Interpol system with our other police partners. Remember, slave hauling is illegal, take the appropriate actions. If fired upon, deadly force is authorized.

Another busy day dawned upon Liberty. My day started when I joined officer J.D. Masket for some patrolling and chasing smugglers. Instead I found myself stranded at the Colorado gate with a rogue gunboat. I called him for backup and also we were joined by an LSF agent - lucky for us he was flying a bomber. The fight stretched on and another rogue joined. I was playing the bait almost all of the time. After some intense minutes, we managed to put the gunboat out of comission. The situation with the falcata, who left was more difficult, because we were constantly hit by ion disturbances which made things pretty difficult. However he was eliminated and arrested.
After that I moved to Texas for some embargo duty with a cuple of fellow officers. Our first encounter was a smuggler of cardi. He was refusing to stop, so we..performed the according protocol.
Things finalyl went quiet for some time...until the same hacker was spotted in NY again. We found him and he agreed to leave Liberty. However, after making a diversion from course in Cali, he decided that he can take us and had the nerve to ask us to pay him in order not to kill us. This threat left us with no choice, but to execute him.
After that I took a little break to repair my ship and rest. I came back to texas when the repairs were complete. Everything was as it was supposed to be - traders running and complaining about the embargo and such.. Our first catch was a zoner vessle who ignored multiple orders to stop. - He was headed straight for the Bering gate with a hold full of cobalt. He left us with no choice but to engage him.
The next target is one I want to stress on - he is regulary ignoring our orders and running. I suggest all officers be on the lookput for him and only give 1 warning before engaging him. If he doesnt learn with words, he will learn by force. Target callsign is Beta-Had-Corp.
Lastly we met some a very interesting Pilot. He was carrying platinum for Rheinland and he even admited it. He also said that he carries "war machines" from Rh to Liberty... I take it he meant Military Vehicles. He refused to pay a fine, so we had to use force and he ended up in Sugarland.
I would like to point out something to every Zoner who might be reading this - Dear zoners - you are NOT above the law and you WILL be shot if you ignore direct orders from ANY Lpi, LN or LSF ship.
Subject: Lesson 1. Your comm device and you. UPDATED
Please re read this lesson, it has been updated. This major changes are quoted below:
UPDATE #2: please add the following lines in you comm systems:
7 Docking control, don't let #t land! Shut down the mooring fixture and docking ring!
8 Ground control, deploy teams to arrest the crew of #t !
Take guncam footage of the smuggler/escapee and your warning to the docking control. If he somehow LANDS anyway, we can make a REPORT to docking control and have that individual SANCTIONED for letting them thru anyways.
End of message
