What's the character's affiliation going to be? Freelancer? If so, then I'd go for Bounty Hunter Buckshots if it is to be a lawful freelancer, or Codenames if it is to be generic. If you wish to affiliate yourself with Corsair's or Outcasts, then use the respective side's weapons.
I would just like to know what is the ultimante loadout. From that loadout I can then break it up into segmants that will represent different affiliated freelancer types eg: pirate, lawful. So all that I am asking is what would be the best loadout regardless of factions and such.
I would have to say Xeno Black Widows are up there as the best weapons for a bomber. They take up enormous amounts of energy normally, but a bomber can handle them no sweat. Archangels (Or is it Excalibur?) Are the most powerful codenames on the server, and are mainly meant for bombers since they require so much energy to fire.
Four Imp. Debilitators are a terrible set up. I see a lot of people using them... but seriously what do you do when you come up against a ship that you can't SNAC? Like a LF? Or a VHF pilot with half a brain?
The best thing about bombers is versatility. Four Imp. Debbies restricts your usefulness.
Mount four hull busting guns of a faction that is appropriate for your zone of operation and alligance. If none suit, use Zoner weapons (Furys) Or Flashpoints, or if you're strictly lawful, use BH weapons.
Then use a SNAC and TCD, and a Screamer mine.
