Well, when flying a bloodhound and the npcs constantly wiping your shield off...its rather hard to say anything else, especially if a gunboat passes by, gets off the lane and opens fire on you
While the /setmsg command isn't the best for roleplay usually, I think it's essential for pirates. Typing long-ish demands in character gives that bumblebee or heavy tanker ample time to blast out of there. If more people made use of the command, rather than sticking to the short "2mill or die" (Not that you did), the stigma that comes with pirating will eventually die off. Atleast, I hope.
