GB Solaris - I have 5 on one of my gbs.. they are great, tested many times in real fights, RHA has 5 on some of their gbs, same thing

Cruiser Solaris - I also have 5 on one of my cruisers... and again they are great, last time I used them I killed 2 bombers and 3 fighters in a group fight, none of them were targeting me.... only cruiser weapon which can achieve that vs fighters/bombers.

BS Solaris - we tested those on RP server with BS that had 4 solaris and 3 escorts, we comfortably killed 4 bombers attacking us at once.

That is correct, cruisers are meant to be weakest vs bombers/fighters out of those 3 groups.

Just asking... (just asking!!!) If cruisers can't kill fighters, and they can't kill battleships, what are they for? killing gunboats?

Actually its' the opposite, as I found out when I first started modding. I was trying to buff up the vanilla HFs to VHF standard and couldn't figure out why their stats weren't changing. Then I realised the info card does not automatically update, it must be done manually.

You didn't read what MarvinCZ said.... weapon infocards are updated automatically.

Ship infocards aren't.

Yes cruisers can't kill battleships. Unless of course they are very bad and have 12 flaks or something...

If you mean single cruiser then you are right.. it can't kill a BS. Just like single GB can't kill a cruiser now.
2 Cruisers have no problems with a BS.

Well... 2 battlecruisers (2 carriers v bhg battleship) lost against a battleship... Maybe because I was anti-cap and the other was anti-fighter. But still, 2 cruisers with full anti-cap couldn't kill a bs in my opinion. Might need to test that a bit more though.

Carrier is really not made for fighting BS.... like ever. It lacks the one most important part of Cruiser vs BS fighting, namely the ability to dodge.
