SHFs.
- Too big and inagile to not catch a SNAC from a competent bomber pilot, not enough offensive capacity to really stand a chance against anything bigger than a transport. Granted, SHFs are extremely good at killing transports. I hate them because the Junker "Bomber" is a SHF, and as a result I'm obligated to find something useful about it besides the whole transport-smashing bit. It's annoying when you get jumped by a gunship, and the realization hits that your "bomber" is being both outmaneuvered and outmuscled by a ship with shields more than 5 times as good as yours.
Freighters.
- Solid support ship, good offensive capacity mixed with respectable cargo. Despite this, what's the point? I've been an advocate of buffing freighters since 4.84 and while I love the changes the new version has brought, it's still not quite there.
There needs to be a bona fide unique feature for both these ship classes. Right now they're both just sort of caught in limbo. It's no small coincidence that they're both roughly the same size, same maneuverability, same shields and have the same two or three lunatics that insist on flying them out of sheer bloodymindedness.
Super Heavy Fighter. They're like bombers that are awful...
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
Yes, yes, we know of your impotency there. I hate them because I cannot KILL anything IN them.
' Wrote:Any fighter at all. I'm functionally useless in them, generally being nothing but a sponge for absorbing enemy fire.

In a GB I used to be Hell on Thrusters, but I haven't flown mine much recently.
' Wrote:SHF's ? I mean seriously, they're just target practice in my eyes. Either none of the good pilots fly them, or they're that crap.
You've never fought Walker or me. I mean, honestly...those things are scary in a good pilots' hands.

Inagile, perhaps. I fly them like I do any other ship...Like a big bomber. If I start to EK, best to fly wide. CDs don't stop me, I expect to get hit with one, and so I compensate by using my thruster halfway into the turn, then jinking. Adding Freighter shields to them has just made them even more devastating. (I do genuinely miss being able to use Nomad cannons on mine though. Deb turrets + Nommie guns is a deadly combo on those. Plus a SNAC, of course.)

Se previous answers.

Fixed.

I'll have to spar with you or see you in action sometime to see where I'm going wrong. It might actually just be bad luck on my part getting stuck fighting multiple 48k bombers. Or one single 48k bomber who would be able to whoop my ass even if we swapped ships, I hold no pretenses in regards to my skill in combat as of late.
I also experimented with double razors on the Recycler, but that just makes it a bomber killer and renders it useless for any other role.
