I think its time to return and kill more things now...Kusari-Xeno things.

Quote:The great hulk of the disabled barge drifted through Shikoku. Gleeful farmers and Xenos flitted in space outside its hull rejoicing but superstitious fear inspired by its awesome size kept them from boarding it--who knew how many Junkers and booby traps might be in there and there were rumors of Wild and Nomads in it to boot.

As soon as the hulk drifted from sensor range, Junker repair parties swarmed aboard. Spare parts were a staple on the barge. Secreted away in multiple redundancies throughout its majestic girth, it was easy to restore basic systems. As for the damaged hull? ninety-nine percent of a barge is open space. Simple scrap metal patches repaired almost all the damage.

Long to construct but equally long to tear down, the barge -- once finished -- is a permanent fixture. In time all Junker enemies would learn this but for now let their ignorance be a Junker strength. Junker crews burst into song smiling as they imagined the surprise on crooked toothed Kusari faces and pale unwashed Xeno ones when the barge miraculously returned.

It's a good day to be a Junker!

Authorities will allow and even join criminals in engaging you.

What criminals are you referring to? Cause don't forget the Kusari government as a whole does not view the Hogosha as criminals. Criminals we may be, but not "technically" according to the goverment. The AFA may be more openly "criminal" than the BDS is, but still not viewed that way legally for the most part according to the government.

So if it's those "criminal" factions you're referring to, then the KNF and KSP are not actually working with criminals at all.

"Criminal" is a subjective term--so is "legal". Ask any Junker;)Hehe--I guess we aren't criminals either since the houses get along with us too. So let's all just get along eh? I'll meet you at New Tokyo and buy you a drink.

But this isn't going to set a precedent where we're going to see FA and Xeno bombers all sitting outside Rochester, is it?

Sorry Rudo, but that stuck in my craw abit, not because of you, or it being said, but I think it highlights an issue. What says the AFA couldnt launch some kind of operation into New York? Well, lets go over the arguments. The first on I expect is that it's outside the AFA's zone of interests, and there are no FA npc's there. Well, the AFA is against the Junkers and Liberty corporations, so they have enemies there, they could dock at Ames so docking is not a problem, so I would say they do have interests there. Nope no NPC's in Liberty, but there are no Junker NPC's in Kusari, yet that doesn't stop the Junkers. Yes it says the Junkers are trying to move into Kusari, it doesn't say they have moved into Kusari, but by the same logic, it says the FA is trying to stop the influence of Liberty cooperation's in Kusari, what better way to hurt those corporations then to attack them where they live?

Now, I am not really suggesting in any way the AFA opening up operations in Liberty, what I am pointing out is that some factions are given lots of leeway in developing their zoi and rp, while others are boxed in, with a thread being made every time someone thinks they have moved even marginally from what their npc's would do. Tinkerbell, you have done some really really unique rp for the Junkers, and have been able to bring your vision to the Junkers. Junkers are not the same as their NPC's and that is thanks to you, and brings spice to the disco universe..... why would you not do everything you can to help other factions have the same opportunity to move their faction beyond just being a mimic of the npcs?

Quote:Having a barge "run silent, run deep" in Kusari space as a covert mobile depot for "found goods" will be fun.

We'll see, but your topic shows it wasn't that much fun, aye?

A monster like the barge will unlikely sneak anywhere, because its simple appearance in a system will change the whole gravity relations. So you cannot really hide it.

At least now i know, why Jinx was asking for a basic hitpoint buff for barge up to 2 Million on dev forum. That will be 8 million with cap armor upgrade mkVIII.

Fun, aye?
