What does everyone think about have a /setmapcode? That way your new character can use the map from your character that has explored Sirius and not have to "re-explore" again.
but exploring map is fun too or no?
i have on my trader almost all jumpholes and bases in sirius, but i dont think it will be good to teleport them to all my characters. i like exploring:)
I would appreciate this, and I think others might also, especially when setting up characters that are supposedly "another ship" of the same character. By the same merit, one might want a "setrepcode" to set the reputation the same, but that could be so easily abused.
I think maybe charging a couple dozen million for each might be in order if it were possible.
I wouldn't like to copy the map over if it were a different character, in RP.
But for the same character, yes indeed.
A person can only explore the same system so many times while retaining their sanity from wasted time.
This whole "There is a reason why this mod is called discovery" excuse has more flaws than a governmental body.
A very smart proposal. It will be very useful for characters that have "multiple" ships.
I also like the idea of reputation transfer as long as it's within the same account and costs around 12 million (less abuse). For example, as a cadet for the ZTC I need to have multiple ships for one character (3-4). For each character I need to perform a complete neutral rep fix (that's 29 guard systems, plus everyone else). And of course, I hate to look up my FLCompanion each time to find those JHoles.
