"Erm... Nein? Ich did get nothink!" He replied, trying not to ruin the surprise.
"Oh, you're Udo, right?" Dan McKay asked. "I think I met you in jail once?"
"Ja..." Udo replied, not exactly remembering, but blushing none the less. As is customary whenever the phrase 'I think I met in prison' was brought up.
Then, Udo saw a beautiful woman exit the mining ship, quickly sending him into tunnel vision. He walked over to this new woman to say hallo. "Oh, Guten Tag! Would you wish to don..."
Then, he heard a yell behind him and the sound of a weapon being charged. Fearing for himself, he ducked for cover, knocking the Corsair woman down in the process and ending up on top of her. The Hessian fired his weapon missing both of them. Udo clung in terror to Catalina, certian he was about to die.
It was at that point that Wenzel Ranis ran up the hallway, checking on the new arrivals. "Hans! Cease! What die hell are you doing!?"
Wenzel Ranis grabbed Hans' gun and then Hans' vest. "What was that?" he asked angrily. "Shooting inside is dangerous."
"Well, uh, you see..." the Hessian began to say before Wenzel cut him off.
"I suggest you go pay a visit to Casablanca soon." Wenzel said.
"Why Casablanca?" Hans asked.
"Because that's the only place safe from Olga right now," the bartender answered. "And I think you just made yourself an appointment."
The Hessian's eye widened before he ran towards the area where his fighter was. Wenzel could only chuckle. With the chaos subsiding, he went back to his business.
"Oh, thank you for that," Catalina said. She pushed Udo off of her, stood, and dusted herself off. "That happens more than you could imagine."
Udo began to ask her something (most likely if she'd like to donate to the LWB or her marital status) but was cut off by Eva. "That was something," she said, "but in any case, I'm glad you didn't get that dangerous artifact. Someone from the LWB was supposed to have done so."
She rubbed her chin thoughtfully and then continued, "I do apologize Herr McFadden. I'm sure we'll locate it soon and take care of things. How about if Karl shows you to the Biergarten? Someone there may very well know what's going on."
"A Biergarten?" Will asked from the back of the group, "I'll join you! Want to go Catalina?" The Corsair woman nodded and the three Gaians walked off with Karl.
"Now then, Udo," Eva said, "What is new with you? This Vincent fellow said something about you being interested in some Silver?"
Realising the Corsair woman was probably already taken, and not wanting to risk making Eva sad, Udo returned to her.
"Now then, Udo," Eva said, "What is new with you? This Vincent fellow said something about you being interested in some Silver?" She asked.
"Ja, Silber ist shiny!" He timidly replied. he then beaconed for Eva to follow him. "Oh, Eva! Ich habe to show you somethink. Come along, it ist in mein Quarters."
Udo jogged down the hallway, heading toward the residential block.
"Oh no," Eva said to herself as Udo mentioned he had something to show her. "This may not be good."
Looking around, she spotted the two men still standing there and beckoned for them to follow. "This could be dangerous," she said, "so why don't you come with me. It'll help with the silver sales."
The two nodded and the three of them followed Udo down the hallway to his quarters.
