Re: Frigate Evaluation

Commander,

As requested in earlier communications the LNS-RedBear, Liberty Assualt Frigate, has been undergoing trials. Overall, her response in battle has been excellent (evident in battle of California). However, in the past 24 hours have placed her in experimental situations to determine her true abilities. While in the process of uprading weapons and shields had cause to enter debris fields in Texas, California, Alaska, and two rim-systems, all under full cruise. She responded excellently. I provide ship video showing a brief second of time under cruise.

[attachmentid=1243]

In addition, I reccomend this class of vessel become a fixture in our navy list. In a pinch, fully armed and shielded, she can stand up to a Light BS and give a good accounting of herself versus other classes. Plus, if acting in concert she will defeat even the larger classes.

For general infromation, while on patrol, and upgrading, came across several jump holes in the Texas and Califronia systems. At Texas 4C is a direct jump to California emerging at 5F. At the same locale is a Rogue base named Alcatraz. Also, found a jump hole going to the Cortez system at 5C in California.

One reccomendation I wish to make is to allow Capital Ships the ability to take on the Cerebus gun. Yes, I am aware built by Rheinland, but it is widely available in the sector and provides an extra punch.

In conclusion, I wish to state the LNS-RedBear is fully equiped and shielded with maxium allowed by regulations.

My compliments,
Cpt. RedBear of the LNS-RedBear (Frigate)

Hey, sirs

Can I leave Willard? It's too cold in the cloud, and I've been
here all week, can I be moved to LA?

I fell asleep on my patrol, I had a funny dream:

I almost drowned in a sea of alcohol and I washed up on a beach made of cocaine,
and the sky were made of LSD, and every three were made of marijuana.

*Drunkeness*

Joe.

End of message

A Liberty Rogue transport was intercepted near LA, it carried
BAF and Navy officers, it was pursued to Alcatraz where it docked,
the Interceptor boarded the base with marines and
rescued the captives.

A LSF fighter assisted in the rescue.

All pilots were safely brought back.

Re: Cali Patrol

Commander,

On routine patrol the LNS-RedBear and LNS-Valkyrie engaged and damaged two HF fighters (sabre-possibly flown by someone named Inferno? and Starflier 35lvl) of little note and skill.

However, due to curiosity and pique pride I agreed to fight HF-Zuikaku flying an Albatross Frigate. I sustained damage and the field was his. Cost of damage will be paid by me due to my pride and of an unofficial nature. No hands were lost because of my hubris.

Battle Report 262052z Jan 2007

While on routine patrol over Los Angeles engaged two HF figters, Inferno and Chaos. HF Inferno was well equiped and flew expertly. We exchanged damage (despite being outgunned) until the LNS Redbear arrived and provided relief after which he withdrew. HF Chaos was a small fighter and did not engage. Continued to patrol and assisted (late unfortunatly, I'm sorry sir) the LNS Redbear. After she was crippled the HF Zuikaku withdrew. After brief persuit I doubled back to lend assistance to the LNS Redbear. All told, the engagement was a loss. I take full responsibility for my late arrival and my apologies to Cpt. Redbear for disregarding orders.

None required. My hubris led me to the battle. Your assistance was not needed, but appreciated.

OOC

I'll tell you guys this. I'm so proud that you have really allowed me to accomplish my dream. I stood back for a few days, and the faction thrived on without me.

I think that the faction is self-sufficient enough that it no longer needs my administrative services.

I'll drop in sometime in-game as one of my SA chars to do a couple of partols with you guys if I can.

I'm proud that you guys will carry on.

Before I leave, I'm going to PM OsoRojo and Tannik my email, and I ask that you keep it confidential from anyone else. In case there is something you need, ie, a new tag, I'll get it fixed up and hosted for you. Just have to send an email.

I hope that you all will thrive on and show sirius that the SA is one to be respect'd.

Take care all.

:)

Out of Character
Specifically for Lump Lorry

OoC: This is my first message out of char but I admit I'm REALLYannoyed by all this debate. Oso, don't take me wrong but... STOP NOW! You are continuosly saying that it's your last post and then you put an other one. Do you need a dictionary? Do you know the meaning of the word "LAST"? If you have other comments, please post them in the SA message dump!! This is our Faction thread. If you have any problem with single players then send them private messages. No need to invade our faction thread with out of charachter messages. This is the RP thread; OoC message should be posted somewhere else.

Lump Lorry,

I am well aware that english not your 1st language, however, you failed to, it seems, to have read my 2 posts on your message dump. All were in response to HellFire member's posts upon our thread. I am, and was, just setting record straight. Sorry for your annoyance, however, when a miscommunication abounds i will set it straight. If it ruffles a few feather so be it.

My compliments

Major HF defeat in California

A huge HF strike force was repelled today.

The HF fleet consisted of GB/CR/BS/BS.

FGS opened fire without warning, and are being placed on KoS (Grouped with HF)
for helping HF, thier Battleship were destroyed in the fight.

An Osiris named Stumper shot at the SA fleet while fighting (Grouped with HF)
HF, it was also destroyed.

The SA fleet took minor damage, LA sent repair
ships to repair the damaged SA battleship.

The newly launched SA Carrier proved to be
effective in combat, the HF were excellent
for testing and target practice.

'ooc': Good fight all, enjoyed it. 6-7 vs. 4, we lost none:P

Applause to Bear and Pheonix.

Nuss:)

Re: battle of Cali II 1.27.2007

Commander,

Under the leadership of Admiral Nussebull our task force engaged a rather sizeable HF force. True disposition of force unknown by me, however, after reviewing ship video have partial list of opposing forces.

HF (FGS) forces included:

A. Hessian Cruiser (Damaged by LNS-RedBear, sadly, ION storm during battle erased evidence, believe flown by FGS), B. GunBoat (damaged, Cpt. by HF Denelo (intelligence, it seems Denelo rising star last engagement only fighter jockey) C. Fighter by FGS-Venom, speculation on my part (little effect on battle) D. FGS-GM.Starburst (heavy damage, removed twice) BS, E. HF-Balinster, Liberty Dreadnaught, damaged, F. HF-Vulture of Death, BS, damaged, before Ion storm, G. HF-Setting.Sun, BS, damaged.

On list of forces opposed is Stumper_Trader, Osiris Dreadnaught, affiliation unknown, engaged due to being fired upon (KOS order given by Admiral Nussebull). Engaged by all and crippled, removed 3 times.

LNS-RedBear on patrol at Cali Minor sighted the ship ECF_Valiente(Skylanzer, BS, a Corsair tag), during Cali Battle comms relayed it had been attacking our BSG allies. LNS-RedBear engaged. Assistance arrived in the form of allies LSF-Admiral Greylin (Fighter) and BSG-Veers (Fighter). The Skylanzer near damage went cruise and I lost it in nebula near Willard station due to local criminal's CD. Returned to routine patrol.

SA forces and allies:LNS-Nussebull, commanding DN, LNS-Phoenix, Liberty Assualt Carrier, LNS-RedBear, Frigate, Admiral Greylin, fighter, BSG-Veers, fighter.

[attachmentid=1260][attachmentid=1261][attachmentid=1262][attachmentid=1263]

Commander, all vessels and commanders acted in the highest order and are in the truest sense Navy. My compliments to all.

Sincerely,
Cpt. RedBear of the LNS-RedBear (Frigate)
