Seems, I'm missing the fun, heh?. Well, someone has to do the escort missions here.
No reports from the last mission escorting the San Mateo around Liberty.

I'm glad you took my advice about the patrols in virginia, I've been thinking on a couple more of options, I'll send you a file soon.
After reloading my Avenger at Pueblo Station, launched from docking bay number 2. There were no traffic from or to pueblo, which was a little odd, because there's always traffic. Took the lane to New York gate, and in the middle of it, there were a xeneer fighting against a freelancer, I got closer to them, and I offered my help to the freelancer who seemed to be in troubles.
A few moments after that, another xeneer was spotted in my scanners, the one called Sidewinder. He step in too, everything was lighter now, the xenos were taking over the place. As if the 2 xeneers weren't enough rivals, two more came. I was under heavy fire, but 3 more vessels came to the area, I expected some kind of support, but.... no. 3 outcasts vessels engaged me, I managed to evade them, I did probably, a little bit of damage to them. But, I was surround from all the flanks.
I escaped from there, to battleship Rio Grande,
The outcasts were destroyed by the XA, I got to New York, not without seeing 2 more xenos on my way there. The technicians from the Missouri are working on my avenger, it'd be ready to launch again, soon.

This is just for the Liberty Navy officers to know, that Jeff Kinney's brand new Upholder Bomber has been finished and kitted out with top notch gear. We will be available for bomber support anytime LNS-Brookstone is in space, the bomber is held in its fighter bay.
Thank You,
Jeff Kinney Captain of the LNS-Brookstone

Well I am quite appalled at the situation I found myself in yesterday in Colorado. I was responding to a sighting of an Order spy, when I encountered a Phantom battleship with a bomber in support. Only two, yes two ships responded to my distress call. Shortly into the melee, the Phantoms were assisted by Xeno's. The battleship left the area in all of the confusion, I managed to eliminate one of the Xeno's and the Phantom bomber, when more Xeno reinforcements arrived. Two LPI officers valiantly came to our aid but, we were overwhelmed when two Outcasts decided to join in. I have no idea how this turned out as my ship was crippled and made an emergency landing at Fort Bush. Liberty is in disarray and needs more regular patrols.

Well lets blast off this report with a good word. Earlier today ((24-6-2009)) a fleet composed of myself, LNS-Yellowstone (A Liberty Siege Cruiser) and Ensign Logan Williams did a firm patrol of the California system following reports of Lane Hacker, Outcast and Rogue activity.
First encounter was with a Outcast Gunship, piloted by "The Dead Runner". He was giving some Universal ships some hassle and engaged them promptly. We engaged him quickly and he fled to Alcatraz. Sooner after docking though he was back out and watching the trade lanes. We made quick work of him..
Second up, a Rogue named "Savoy" seemed to think it was funny to catch and tax passing traders. We soon engaged him and I was all over his tail while the Yellowstone pumped thousands of pulse particles into his diminishing shield. Hehehe...
Thirdly, we ran into a little junker smuggler. Carrying roughly 3600 units of Cardamine on board claiming he was going to "Poison the rogues". I'm sure this translates into "Sell drugs to civilians on planets". We quickly pursued him and he lead us on a chase through the California system, we were ready to engage since he failed several times to cut his engines and halt. Upon reaching the Pennsylvania jump hole, he quickly hit his warp drives and we followed. Coming out the other side his shield was quickly dropped and he surrendered. We demanded the dropping of this Cardamine cargo and he did so and fined him a great 2 million credits.
The money was transfered to the nearest naval armory as shown here. The smugglers name was "Shagohad". It was clear he was German due to his strong accent and well..His "cursing" in German was more than enough evidence of his nationality.
Lastly, we had a hostage situation out near the California trade lanes leading to the New York Jumpgate. Miss Jayde Wolffe, belonging to the Lane Hackers had 2 civilians and 11 Liberty Navy Pilots on board her vessel. When we were about to engage her she quickly retreated and ordered me and the Yellowstone to not approach beyond 2km. We obeyed. Negotiations ran on and I managed to grab the 2 civilian pilots, it was just a matter now of getting the Naval pilots, but then things..Went wrong..The Hacker demanded that we released several unlawful prisoners that some of our recent ships had captured. In response I got on the Comms and asked about reports regarding captured unlawfuls and sadly got no response three times. It was obvious this girl was just desperate for escape.. I had to make a plan to save both the pilots and eliminate the Hacker so she does not claim anymore lives for her own. I ordered the Yellowstone to prepare its primary cannon and fire on my mark, at which point we would advance very quickly, tractor the hostages and move into open engagement, my ship was destroyed in the fight and I heard the ship fled from the Yellowstone.
I'm..*Some noises of heavy breathing and sniffing come over the comm*..I couldn't save the pilots in time..I could hear them screaming over the comm and I was calling back "Theres nothing I can do, I'm sorry, I'm sorry I have to"...I just...Oh man... I'm sorry command I should of saved them, I tried my best..A scan log of Jayde's cargo has been attached to this transmission...I need a rest..

Just Tyin again, using a comm terminal in West Point, a few addition to my previous report.
An Outcast and a Lane Hacker decided it was funny not to leave Liberty when told. They found it funnier when they turned into a pile of junk and scrap metal. Outcast name was "The Dead Runner" the Hackers name was "Jason Odds". One was piloting a Outcast GB the other a Hacker GB.
Started my patrol with several circuits around Liberty, linking up with several officers including Ensign Preager, Ensign Willows, Ensign Tyin along with Captain Peters, Captain Malaign and the Captains of the Yellowstone, Thunderbolt, Ithaca and Fury later on.
With some minor skirmishes around Liberty, which included the rogue gunboat "Cameran" attacking Ensign Willows and Ensign Preager and a supposed Order gunboat that entered Manhattan orbit. As I closed in on the fight against the rogue gunboat, the officers present already had the gunboat contained and was destroyed. The Order gunboat, Eye of the Beholder, was sighted near Fort Bush by Captain Peters, as we both gave pursuit to Manhattan. The ship tried to mask its sensor readings, but with the help of Manhattan control, and the bounty hunters that were already firing it we managed a lock on. The gunboat soon fell and the capital was quiet once more.
Later, with Captain Malaign, Steven O'Grady and Richardo James Garuda-1 joining us, we spotted a rogue destroyer by the name of Stahlfaust just outside the Mississippi's range. I ordered the battlegroup which consisted of LNS Fury in a cruiser, LNS Ithaca in a dreadnought, and the Yellowstone also in a cruiser to yellow alert. Possible hostiles were also around which were Junkers in gunboats. The Destroyer finally tried to flee towards the debris field where we engaged the vessel. It fled into the field and back into New York where we disengaged our pursuit.
Joined by Director Fluid and Agent Verrelli of the LSF, I was messaged by [*USI*]Cleveland[P]. Apparently part of a trader group, he had somehow acquired Rheinland weaponry. After asking the Director, I took the weapons and dropped them off on the Missouri for further research. The techs believe that the weapons are Tachyon and Plasma weapons.
Ensign Willows, Ensign Tyin, Ensign Preager, as always, a pleasure to be flying with such fine officers. I'm sure we've all learned a little something today? Also, thank you Captain of the Yellowstone to be keeping an eye out for these officers in California. A rather long day, however more interesting near the end to say the least, Captain.... and with that, concludes my day report.
Today, myself and Ensign Preager spotted a smuggler carrying Cardamine in the California system. Surprisingly I had not been told by Commodore Robinson to perform a Virgina-system patrol, prior to the smuggler catch. The whole event was recorded with camshots:

Few hours later I was doing a routine patrol with Mo- .... Commodore Willows and it didn't took long before we found an Outcast Gunboat located near Fort Bush. The hostile was warned several times to leave the area, but as expected he responded with the sound of this thrusters desperately trying to escape from the scene. Commodore Willows gave out the command for attack and the hostile was quickly taken down.
After the short skirmish was over, Ensign Preager gave out a distress call originating from the Alaska system. Two or more Corsairs had breached from the Omicron Minor system and were currently in a fire-fight with several of our Pilots. Fortunately they handle the situation rather well and we were not forced to assist them.

Greetings to all liberty lawfull forces,
On one of todays patrols commander Anderson and I ended up sweeping the Colorado system. When we came up on the Kepler gate all of a sudden we were staring at the mighty Phantom cruiser called Tesla's Revenge. Appearantly he came out here looking for some new conducters for a certain weapon system he called doomsday weapon as his old ones burned down and he had to "feed them to his pets".
Commander Anderson and I were not exacly in the mood to serve as live conducters and we 'politely refused' upon which the cruiser opened fire. Shortly after the bettle started we found out it had a major weakspot. He could only fire 4 turrets from the rear of his ship and we took advantage of this weakness. We had called in support when we ran into him and while it was still on its way we managed down the shield and damage the hull slightly.
Then the liberty security force bomber Winchester B arived and the tie turned quickly even though the Phantom was also reinforced by another Phantom with the callsign Medical Malpractice.
When more Liberty Navy forces arived both the Phantoms fled to Kepler.
Right after the Phantoms had fled a Xeno Alliance member with the callsign Gopher came flying through the tradelane. He had before offered his aid to the Phantom over the system comms but appeared to late. Agent Nick Da'Mall and me stopped his ship and told him he was under arrest for the following charges:
[font=Lucida Sans Unicode]- Publicly aiding Phantoms
- Threatening officers of the law
- Suspected acts of terrorism
- Affiliation with a terrorist organisation
At first he appeared to surrender. When we were on our way to one of the prisons in Texas to put him in jail there he tried to make a run for it. Unfortunantly agent Da'Mall's cruise distruptor failed to work properly and we had to chase him.
Luck was appearantly on our side because he had an engine failure and we managed to halt him. I ordered him to hand over the prisoners in his hold and fix his engines.
After yet another attempted escape our patience ran out. I ended up fighting the terrorist while agent Da'Mall was making sure he couldn't run off.
After putting up a fierce fight, be it with some complications in the engines, he ran straight into my nuclear mine and was utterly destroyed in a huge fireball.
I can not immagine anyone surviving a blast like that. Scanning for life proved hard due to very high radiation interferance from the nuclear mine blast and we decided to go back to base to do the appropriate paperwork.
I would like to use the oppertunity to warn everyone that might encounter the Tesla's Revenge that the rear is a major weak spot and is to be exploited when possible.
*stupid machine, can't you record?*slam it to the table*
The mechanics in the Petersburg mounted a brand new Mini Razor on my avenger yesterday. I went to patrol around to give it a test, and give it some adjustments. Sadly, I didn't have enough time for the adjustments, but I did have time to test it.
After launching from the Petersburg, I got a distress call from California. Two navy officer (that was what I think when they contacted me) were under fire by a pirate gunship. On the rush, I didn't have time to get my Upholder, also I truly believed we were capable of taking it down, disregarding what the other officers were flying.
When I got there, somewhere between planet Mojave and New York gate, one of the navy officers was almost done, and the gunship had 10% of shield still on. I opened fire on it, but just a few seconds later, one of the navymen got shot down by the gunship.
With team work, we were having the gunship were we wanted. But, unfourtanely, one of those Cartel gangster came to help the gunship's pilot. Not being able to keep the gunship's shield down, due to the cartel's interference, we give him (the cartel) a ride that he will never forget.
It was going well, or that's what I though, but the other officer lost his ship, I was alone in my avenger. Suddenly, a LSF agent came to the place, and the party was once again on. My hull had lots of holes, it was losing oil and fuel, but still hanging on. Once again, the gunship was about to blow, but, two more Cartel vessels showed up. The odds were against us.... and suddenly, Ensign John Tyin appeared from no where, that had to be the most perfect time to appear. We were doing it, finnaly the gunship was going down.
It has to be the most luckiest pilot in the universe, because the LSF agent stepped into his own mine and his ship blew up. For one reason that I'm still wondering, it was just me shooting at the gunship, I checked on my scanners and Tyin was a 4.5k fighting with the cartels, I was not capable of taking down that shield, so I assisted Tyin with those pirates.
At that point, I had no more nanobots, no more batteries. But even then, I left one of those scums with 10% of hull, I wish he could be destroyed but no. Minutes after, I got shot by the gunship, and Tyin got my escape pod, I ordered him to retreat, and he drove me to West Point.
Another ship lost.
Lieutenant Commander Casero requesting a new Avenger.
