CRI Engineers could be sent to LA to construct the same shield generators. The problem is gathering the materials necessary and the construction time. SA transports would need to aquire engine components, high temperature alloys, and construction machinery for the job. SF has been collecting the nomad technology required for sometime and should be able to supply the components necessary for constructing the generators. The components are organic technology based on alien organisms, which CRI has been able to use to provide the energy efficiencies of nomad tech without the risk of it being subject to nomad control. Also engineers would have to be sent from Cambridge to LA to facilitate over the generators construction and operation.
Needed per generator (large train loads)
1 - Engine Components
1/4 - High Temperature Alloys
1/4 - Construction Machinery
1/2 - Engineers with Tech (VIPs)
Construction time would depend on obtaining the materials. (OOC: in previous thread took 8 days in forum timeline from rumor to shield being built, assume was working on that before the rumors so say 10 days from the arrival of first engineers...after that then can post completion)
Problem though is that first priority for us is getting shields up on Leeds and New London. So our transports are focusing on obtaining the materials for their construction. You'll have to get your own transports or sources for getting the materials to LA and anywhere else the shields are to be built.
Full details on the complete designs will not be disclosed to prevent bypassing of the technology. And the organic technology used in the shield generation is only producable at Cambridge Research Station.

Commence raids against the shipyards to reduce their production capacity (OOC: post pending, have pics just need to time to write). Initial scouting and minor raids have found Yokohama very undefended for a Navy Shipyard (no NPC capship coverage) and is primarily producing transports. Yukagawa is protected by destroyer patrols. Neither appears to be producing the Kusari Capships which begs the question where they're being produced. Raids are to continue against the shipyards until Kusari withdraws its forces from Leeds, Harris and the Tau-31 jumpgate.
Particularly target Yokohama to show Kusari that if they continue to visit Leeds we'll extend the courtesy and pay them a visit. Target storage depots and hostile vessels (avoid civilian casualties).
Battlegroup Stormpike also continues to defend Bretonian space against the Kusari front line (OOC: post also pending)

Attempts for peace between Bretonia and Kusari have been proposed and declined by the Kusari (OOC: read the news stories on BS MacDuff and such). Kusari have pushed their forces into Tau-31 and have even conducted raids into Bretonian space. Bretonia wants peace but at the moment is having to defend itself against the pushing advance of the Kusari fleet. With their fleet bearing down on Leeds it really appears that the Kusari have no interest in peace and want the war. I'll pass your proposal onto the Queen but the ones you need to get in contact with are the Kusari. Meantime, raids against Kusari shipyards will continue in an effort to weaken the Kusari line and encourage their withdrawl from Bretonian space.
Situation Report
Continued defense action against Kusari vessels in Tau-31 and Leeds. Kusari fighters are being held to the jumpgate and no further while destroyer and BS patrols are being encountered in Tau-31. We're holding our own against the line but for how long remains to be seen, they just keep sending more ships.

Situation Report
Have conducted scouting raids into New Tokyo and Honshu. Yokohama shipyard is relatively undefended with only the occassional navy fighter or police patrol. A raid has been conducted sucessfully and several supply depots destroyed. Yukagawa is more heavily defended with destroyer patrols but quick hit and run attacks on their supply depots should still prove to be effective. (Just don't sit still for too long, lol)

Good to see the planetary shield operational. Sounds like there's some of that Nomad tech involved.

I have filed a request in to BMM to create a new, state-of-the-art destroyer for engagements in Kusari. Exact dates are impossible to determine as of now, but I expect to have more information at a later date.
The new ship will be focused on engagements of larger Kusari Military targets such as storage depots, and shipyard raids when completed.
