First some background info... this was a new character that did 6 BH missions right out of the box to get BH rep, and then killed a whole lotta Corsairs on the way to and from buying his ship & other gear.
sso-t|Cary.Winchesters (or something like that) was then tagged as liberty cops, so I took and failed a bunch of missions to lose that. Then he was liberty navy. Same drill. Now he's tagged as LSF or whatever Liberty Security calls themselves. Here's my problem...
Not only are LSF not listed as my flashing bestest buddies faction, they aren't anywhere in my faction list at all! Somebody suggested shooting liberty cops will do it, and maybe it will. Just thought I'd ask for other opinions before I make all my "allies" in liberty space hate my guts. And why are all these other factions I haven't done any work for way above the Bounty Hunters? Argh!
j/k i got the bribes 5 out of the 6 times. I must admit, once this happens it feels like its better to start over and get a bribe. unfortunately, i cannot remember where it was because it was so long ago, though i have a feeling that it was on:
SPOILER
Freeport 9
If you dont fancy that....bribe the xenos and maey everyone will stat to hate you.
But that is a weird bug you have there...its never happened to me, but the LSF should reside in new york somwhere, so if you want too you could.
Dont feel too down though, BHG rep is one of the hardest to get, and thanks to a game bug, things have just been made very hard indeed.
I'll try to help with any other issues you have too, if i know how to solve them.
Ha ha ha! Dude you gotta lot of work ahead of ya....
Fastest/cheapest/safeest way is to take/abort missions for the factions you want to lose rep on. 6-12 aborted missions should be enough to do the trick.
Of course in your case you'll need to repeat 10 times for all those factions who love you.....;)
LSF does missions IIRC right in Manhattan.... but you may need to F1 out & in again to refresh the mish list.
Hope this helps.
o.
EDIT: Sorry puff didn't read your post properly first time.... could be a case of you haven't met any LSF yet, i.e. spoken to any in the bar (since there are no NPCs tagged LSF in the non-storyline game I believe). Although you haven't met any, your rep with LSF is still the highest.
Getting a kishiro tag is annoying as well: Got navy tag, then order, interspace, navy ...
Right now Kishiro is 3rd on my most friendly side...

He flies through half the system before going back to New Berlin, where he cruises from one side of the system to the other, hugging the sun as close as he can. All the while, he flies near Battleships trying to scrape me off. I finally send out the white flag, and move back to Sigma 13. However, it was a ruse, and he bit. Knowing his trade route, I interdicted the trade lane and the chase began anew. It ended, an hour after it began, with me retreating, out of Countermeasures and getting very irritated.
He kept boasting how he has never been caught; I'd like to see him beat until he begs to pay, then beaten some more.
3 hours. OMG that was painful. But it woulda been a lot worse without the advice about failing missions in Manhattan. About an hour into my journey it occured to me I'd only need to flunk 1 mission per faction for the guys I wasn't tagged with yet. Still took ages.
Hrm, this seems odd to me. I have 2 BH chars, and they took me like no time to rep properly. I got a BH bribe and a decent ship, shot up some lib navy, and did BH missions till i got the tag. You don't even have to do hard ones, just do sheffield station missions, they still give you rep. A 1 mil investment, and a couple of simple missions will always serve you better than trying to shoot your way into a tag.

Lane Hacker is even harder... Liberty Rogue, Outcast, Order, Zoners, then Hackers. Completely bites!
I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.
RP Story (Still deciding whether or not to finish)
