Few moments ago i saw strange things in delta. 2 keepers, in small ships, few nomad wannabies with them

4 or 5 battleships with i dont know how many fighters and bombers shooting to them in the same time.
I understand, that nomads are beast, but 5 battleships against 2 small ships ?...
(When you take a look, you realize that this is a game,game is making fun for players. but i am sure people on the other side as all the caps are not happy...)
i am asking, because this situation is strongly similar to situations that was in gamma some time ago.
one hunter in bomber and 2 battleships with few gunboats on him...and it was always sad for me to see that.
it is fun to overkill enemy like 1500 to 1? (when i count all the caps against 2 small ships...)
True, lads we are here to have fun. Being Nomads doesn't mean you can kill us on sight neither that we can kill everyone on sight. As we are a role play community I'm sad that i see only few people that are willing to role play with us and not just say Engage (sad part is you fail even in that, i have seen all variations of Engage just so you could fire your guns faster). And i seriously think Delta capital ships need to be reduced to 2 and not to 52. This is a simple critic take it like that and please let's not let this become a flame war. Admitting our mistakes will improve our community. Thank you
I am doing fairly ok RP there with the Deviator and didn't even fire a single shot on one Keeper, actually I got one while searching for some engagement RP (in means of rp, NOT FIRING ON ONE) and I let the Keeper go and even pmed as //dont worry I wont engage you in an Osiris.
I am expecting the same behaviour from other players at least up to some manner.
On the other hand, it is true that when a formidable Nomad force gathers, it takes out things like a cloud of 'hoppers.
boys, point of this question is not what they can to when they have fleet,
point is, that if people in delta think, that is really needed use 4-5 caps + like 15 vhf/bombers against 2 small ships ...
and reaven, what exactly you mean with bigger power? another 25 capital ships?... wake up. this is game, this need to be fun for all, nto only for people in group with 3+ capital ships ....
and i hope, that next time you meet them in 7 bombers, then i ask you how fun it is, when are caps dying one after another ....
If the Nomads intend to make a diplomatic threat against Freeport 11, you really expect there to not be a sizeable fleet stationed there every time a Nomad enters Delta?...
what you mean as sizeable fleet against 2 small ships and 2 nomad wannabies? ....
the same can make corsairs to clean delta problem and help order? move all their ships to daba? hunter undock, all open fire? in roleplay, it is something that will nation as corsairs make to help order, in disco, we dont make it, because we know that it can destroy fun for people there ....
Ganking is never fun for the ganked side (and, in my opinion, not as much fun for the gankers). That there is major overkill... However, Keepers/nomads should expect odds to be somewhat against them at times (that is, 4 vs. 3, or 8 vs. 6, not 12 vs. 4 or anything like that, that's just absurdly gankish). They should also expect people to KoS them, often with little in the way of RP interaction... For example, many of my characters (and many characters in general) wouldn't try to communicate with nomads, period, never ever ever. They're to be run from, or they're to be killed.
All that also goes to similar factions, like Phantoms and Wilde. Lack of chatting and slightly unequal odds (though the nomad ships, at least, are somewhat buffed, IIRC, specifically because the devs expected unequal odds in many situations) is just something you have to deal with if you play a character in those factions.
Still, multiple capships and swarms of smaller ships versus just a few fighters is atrociously bad form.
