Since the "cat " is out of the bag as it were, and we all now know what is going on. What about we continue on with the RP and also set up several, call it 4 or 5 events that will reflect the final outcome. If the Squidies win the bulk of them, then FP11 gets to go boom, if the defenders win most, then the Nomads retreat for a bit to lick their wounds and rebuild.
I liked the keeper attack. It was fun. My bounty hunter Thresher got trashed. I still don't mind, because it was fun. Before, the bounty hunters guild attacked omicron minor. We have been waiting for approval of the players that were in minor at the time, 95% independents. we did not jump before we got the go-ahead.
So we went in, stuff was blowing up left and right and ships went poof on both sides. It was fun and I enjoyed it.
Same goes for the Keeper attack in Delta. Both sides were PMing each other before the fight, in order to make it fun.
That is what I call spontaneous. The fact that someone objects to that natural RP-PvP happening because they weren't involved and informed beforehand, is their respective point of view, opinion, and whatnot.
I have already offered Ophidian to PM him on Skype each time I plan to enter Minor with the BHG. Yes, I could even go that far if it's necessary. So, is it?
Edit: I've been at Fp11 yesterday flying the BHG repair ship, helping the Zoners repair the damage to the station from the first attack. The station won't go boom, permanent system changes are not something that RP events have an automatic effect on.
