I personally spotted a few "Mobius" Pilots in-game when I was patrolling with my Liberty Navy Character.
They seemed to role-play pretty well and as far as I can recall they didn't openly searched to challenge someone. Although they did attack a Junker it was due to self-defense which I confirmed with my own eyes.
All in all they seemed to be an alright bunch and I find it pretty sad for the people here to not have the decency enough to talk to them instead of creating a thread where "All victims of the Mobius force" is gathered to whine and trash talk.

I guess you are referring to me with this? Well i WAS defending that cruiser. All i got through the system channel was that there was a fight going on after i arrived in Leeds.
I guess thats what started the fight was said in local chat, i still have no clue why ist started at all. When i went to visit LD 14 i saw the name of that cruiser on the radar along with some others, and there was gunfire, so i plotted a course.
At first i wanted to ask what was going on, but the cruisers hull was nearly down and since neither the IMGs nor the freelancer disengaged after i stated that i will assist that cruiser (who would not, the situation seemed to be clear and it was an allied ship) i opened fire.
I don't know what Mobius squadron was doing in Leeds i just saw them attacking an allie.
If that cruiser captain made the mistake and engaged without any reason i apologise for interfering but at that point, i really didn't know.
Oh and yes, i did defend a "LAWFUL" cruiser since i was in a BAF gunboat.

No Wuselkobold, I wasnt referring to you, or what anyone was doing ingame since I didnt see what happened myself there. I was referering to this sentense from MArkam, because it sounds to me that he is saying that BAF (lawful) will attack IMG (lawful) for shooting pirates (unlawful).

and yes ben i loled when i saw that one too. Corsairs as a whole? or its just "Corsair"? A Corsair named corsair? or just a Pirate named corsair? .. Or you really mean that all the corsairs are good and reasonable pirates? If its true i would like to join the "Corsairs" Maybe as a lol translator.. to explain to them how to lol and what not. You know as eppy said we need to lol at the new comers.. its always fun:P

IMG are neither a military force nor a police force, nor are they at war with Bretonia. They do not own the Taus (they accept that it is Outcast space and adopt a policy of not shooting first), nor the Omegas (which is Rheinland/Bretonian space).
Whilst there could no doubt be more militaristic elements, most of the guys operating off Java or Falkland are actually rather crazy (go take a look at the rumors on Falkland...), and revel in the fact that they could be attacked by Outcasts at any moment...
As for the underhand dealing thing, neither myself nor any convoy I have been a part of has been attacked or threatened by anyone with a Rogue, Hacker, Hessian or Xeno ID...and, 'tho I have had the odd run in with Corsairs, there have been probably an equal number that have ignored me.
To sum up, IMG really doesn't have enough enemies to warrant military action against them...especially if said military action provokes a response from the offended party...
