Not all indies are bad, it's just that in reality the bad ones do outnumber the good ones, and in some cases, the factions. Faction players have the potential to be just as bad, but usually they have at least some restrictions from their leader. Indies don't.
Point taken. I haven't seen any independent characters in capital ships in NY, though, except for a Zoner juggernaught, a handful of pirate gunboats (which are capable of taking my fighter to shreds, as are bombers, which appear to be the standard vessel for pirates to use), a Junker salvage frigate - hardly a real capital ship - and then there was a Spyglass which I'm not sure on. I see some LN capital ships about. Mostly cruisers, with a few gunboats, and I've seen one carrier and one dreadnought. Usually, though, the pirates have the lawfuls outgunned and outnumbered.
That means it's sorely tempting to save up and buy a gunboat, because otherwise I'm often restricted to just lurking near bases with that character and only traveling when I am absolutely certain that the trade lanes aren't blocked. But if everyone hops in gunboats, then the pirates will get destroyers and cruisers, then lawful folks would be wanting battleships - not a good way to go.
It's really not nice to attack someone like that on the forum. Maybe the piracy business now involves some more effort that some pirates are feeling disgruntled about. Maybe some of them got used to the idea that traders must be all docile and submit all their demands and that even if they are pirating right next to a military base, they should be left alone by the navy. The good pirates do their jobs by sneaking around on traders when they least expect it, successfully evading the lawful forces or escaping before the lawfuls arrive. You don't sit around at a fixed location and pirate every passing trader for an extended time period and then wail about a big bad carrier coming for you.
I witnessed an ever increasing number of pirate gunships in NewYork. I deduce that the new LR gunship is a really good one and I personally have no problem with that, but I will ask those who gang up on transports and small fighters with those caps not to complain when they receive similar treatment from the lawful forces.
Don't take it out on him if business is kind of sloppy. If you have suggestions, it would be nice to pm him first instead. Everyone learns from their mistakes and can improve through constructive criticism.
97% don't know me, and never will and when I speak I do it in a matter unbiased to the "sides,"

I'm so glad you think that you were that important in reality that carrier wasn't there for you, and he has a right to be there correct me if i'm wrong he was in a Liberty system? And remember the treaty agreement with Bret. nation.
Again, I pray i don't decide to comeback from the dead. Liberty deserves a criminal that can carry his cross and soil the ground with blood in silence.
I pray for you that the God Of Fear doesn't judge his own people first before judging those who sin against the natural order of life.
