I have brought back a headset from the dead (and sacrificed some ear skin in the process) to show off my sexy voice on our TS server. I'll sit in it while I'm around.
I'm not too excited about the idea of role-playing server characters on TS, but I'm happy to chat.
And what did you think of that idea of sending periodically a message in-game to players telling them that there is a teamspeak server for discovery freelancer 24/7? That would help to raise the number of players on TS, making it more interesting to use.
I'm one of the server admins and it really is a lot of fun hanging out with the guys that come by. Some of the LN have come on a while back and the RM have started using it. Everyone is welcome and some of the veterans are also in it so new guys that hop in get immediate help.
You know what would be really cool? If there was some way to make it so that when you use your mic on TS or maybe a built in ingame Voice chat, one of those comms portraits you get when you hail an npc pops up for anyone who is in the same channel.
Yeah there would be faces all over your screen and everyone would be talking at the same time and you wouldn't understand a thing :DA bit like TS, Y'know
I thought of it too. But I don't know how complicated that would be. It would have to work so that you can send private vocal messages to a player only by targeting him or something similar. that's the only way I can think of. But it would be cool indeed.
I'm waging 10k credits that someone already suggested it.
Teamspeak works fine tho so you can join the server if you haven't done it already .. =P
