Kristen, with her solid Junker relationships, managed to learn about Crime Boss' plans for her. She contacted Jessicka, who was at refueling the Mostly Harmless III at Buffalo. Jessicka couldn't believe her ears, and falls down to her knees. It seems like her only family has abandonned her. She had nothing to do here anymore.
''What's our next move, Captain...?'', asked Kristen, still shocked from the news.
''Gather the crew, we can't stay here anymore. I want everyone aboard the Mostly Harmless in 30 minutes. We'll then flee to Freeport 2, and benefit from the Zoner station neutrality until we can make out a plan.'', answered Jessika, tears running down her face.
''Will everything be alright...?''
''Y--Yes. Don't worry.''
She then walked away and reached her room. She started to pack her precious souvenirs, and quickly wrote a note for the Rogues.
I see that I am not welcome here anymore. I am sorry for having waste your precious time. I feel sorry to be forced to leave under those... ''conditions''. I've had some good times here, trust me, but since Crime Boss now wants to... how can I say.... punish me like this for trying to save the lives of me and my crew, I have no more reasons to stay here. Nothing to cling onto. What I did was right in its own way, whatever the Boss will say.
-Jessicka Leblanc
As soon as she finishes writting the note, two men enter her room. ''Jessicka, you whore... Boss' looking for you, y'know...'' says the largest one. ''You've been a bad girl... I am sure that he'll enjoy torturing you... amke you beg for mercy...'', they say, slowly walking onto her.
As they grab Jessicka, a detonation is heard. One of the two men falls down, and the other turns around quickly. Kristen was holding a blaster, and shot the guy in the back of his head. As the startled Kristen stares at the other man, who is drawing his own blaster, Jessicka takes out her concealed knife and grabs the man and slices his throat. Kristen is shocked: ''I--I'm sorry... I--I didn't want to...''
Jessicka pushes her and rushes her back to the Mostly Harmless. ''Nevermind already, let's just get the hell out of here...!'' The alarm was given. Buffalo crew was hunting them down. Jessicka takes out her radio and contacts Mark, the crew operator of the Mostly Harmless.
''What's wrong, Jessicka? Buffalo seems to be in one heck of a manhunt...!'', said Marc
''Problem is, Marc, we are the one being chased... long story. Just un-attach the Mostly Harmless from Buffalo and head to Freeport 2. We'll join you later...''
Kristen's eyes widen. ''Freeport 2? How are we going to flee?''
''Don't worry, I think we'll be alright...'' she points at the closest hangar, which's access is being concealed by large doors to trap them in. They rush to it, and manages to slip through at the last second. The Hangar... they were there, finally... now, it'll be the hard part...
They tried to spot an operational ship. Just in time, they find a functional Bloodhound and hop in. Just in time, yes, because Buffalo's security was entering the hangar. ''There they are, take'em down!'' said one of the guards, before opening fire at the girls who were entering the bloodhound.
''Hang on tight, Kristen...'' Jessicka says, heating up the Bloodhound's engines. She wasn't used to this old, outdated technology, but she was getting the hang of it...
Still being shot at, the Bloodhound slowly rises in the air, and flies to the exit of the station, which ''surprisingly'' was shut down. ''We'll never pass through...!'' says Kristen. ''Not if I my plan works...'', answered Jessicka.
Luckily for them, the Bloodhound had Javelin Missiles equipped. She aims at the door, and launches the missile. The missile blasts open the door, with an energetic field preventing decompression. They fly out of the base, with patrols waiting for them outside. Jessicka, knowing that Buffalo's crew mostly were rookies, flies behind asteroids and large rock formations to evade the fire in the badlands. She manages to engage cruise engines, and to reach Texas jumphole. After her jump, the Rogues lost contact, and didn't manage to catch her...
