Is there anything special that has to be done to play on a server I'm hosting on my computer? I can access the discovery RP servers but my own does not appear on the list. I've had firewalls and antiviruses disabled and global workarounds enabled but to no avail. Is there anything posted already that would help me out?

<strike>Yeah, put your IP into your shortcut. I'll see if I can find a tutorial.</strike>
<strike>Do you have a LAN?</strike>
Global Workaround conflicts with Discovery, try uninstalling it.

Come on! Be free!

Are you behind a router? If so you need to forward or some ports. If you router has a DMZ setting this might be easiest, otherwise you will have to look up what ports you have to forward or wait for someone here to tell you, i dont know off hand.

Additionally I dont know how the global server workaround works, has any tried manually connecting to your server by putting -s(IP adress) in the target?

Discovery's dsupdate.cfg has -s ips in the arguments line, just add your ip in there.

Thanks for the help; I was able to get it to work once I was able to edit and add my IP to the dsupdate.cfg file. I'm now testing to see if others can access to it. Thanks for the help
