You cant put guard ships in the system because its not a guard system....
It is a blockade and honestly make the damn thing a maze ima keep on going through it.
Go ahead i want you to.
quick edit as much as the navy spends time sitting around on there cap ships dooing nothing they could be guarding the entrance to area 51 ?
Within rp yes its a blockade ive been stopped a few times in Alaska i think 3 in 6 months and the last 2 none of dem navy boys had a guard id.
Just make the damn thing a maze i support that but you pretty much kill it as a smuggling route.
http://signavatar.com/15890_s.gif First: You've got a picture in there that's 800x286 pixels. The maximum signature size is 700x250.
Second: Your other picture in the rotation fills the full 700x250 boundaries by itself.
With an image that big, you can't fit any text below it. Please fix this.

I believe there are already guard pilots in Alaska, at least close to the Minor Jump Hole.
Also, when I'm on my Navy, nobody goes through who isn't authorized (except underlevels), not even a Zoner may pass, especially not a Zoner, since they work together with the biggest "terrorist" faction in existence, the Order.

My sensors have detected a lapse in logic, captain.
Is it a guard system, or isn't it, now?

If it were only so easy to chop off the head of that hydra of a smuggling route.
I hope your optimistic appraisal of the situation is accurate and the route's efficacy will be removed entirely.
Alaska shouldn't be a viable smuggling route at all. Normal people don't even know it exists. Zone 21 is a military testing area in a minefield. There's no jumpgate there at all. There's no system. And if anyone not a high ranking member of the Navy/LSF or under the supervision of one of those tries to go through, they should probably be shot to bits by defense turrets.
And even if your character is somehow a massive exception to the norm (or is a Navy pilot who has given the secret away and somehow not been killed yet) - that jumpgate? It seems bizarre that it would have access codes, anyways. More likely to be opened/closed manually from a control station on Manhattan.
"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
there is an Order BATLLESHIP in Alaska, not a base, would Order just tell Zoner "come to visit my secretly hidden Battleship in Alaska!"? i bet no. and, in RP, Alaska doesnt exists in public, only Order and Liberty, that's it. (no offense, but whoever use that space to get in LIberty is OoRP, except Order ships)

Would now be a good time to mention that is the point? I'm also going to try to get permission from Igiss to position either a Guard faction Battlecruiser or guard faction weapons platforms by the gate, or right inside Alaska by the NY gate. That is, in addition to making the field a maze.
One wonders these days at just how close the Order and Zoners want to be, or should be, in their "alliance", notwithstanding what our reppie sheets and infocards say...
But perhaps the Order might be convinced that this particular "Zoner" is actually a "spy" for the Liberty government, and should be treated as such, with extreme prejudice.
I know Chairman Mal or the CoZ won't lose any sleep over a repeated blue message. Some folk just don't "get it".

This guy understands... I'm impressed, and somewhat relieved.
I'm thoroughly glad that some new members really grasp the understanding of RP better than than some 'veterans', kudos, I hope you keep it up.
