Seleucous just came off of an escort job for a smuggler when he noticed the tryout message. Itching for adventure, he hopped back in his cockpit and made way for Planet Cambridge.
// I have been trying to get on to create a new character for the past half hour but the server is full.
Leaning against the outer wall of the bar, he stood there sighing to himself. Business has been slow since the war started between Liberty and Rheinland. Nobody wanted to hire freelancer merc's anymore, except for a few smugglers and embargo runners that is.
His ship sat on the anti-gravity bed in Dock 7, Manhattan, and his personal belongings lay stowed away in his cargo hold.
Finally moving from his perch against the wall, he began his trudge towards the docking bays. Passing some odds-and-ends shops along the way, he accidentally kicked a small metal placard. Inscribed on it was information pertaining to a pilots tryout.
Interestingly enough, he smiled at it and took it with him. Making it to the dock, he punched the outer control panels keys that released the canopy. Climbing into the cockpit he ran a quick diagnostics and inventory check, making sure the engineer lackey's didn't forget to load his order of Nuclear mines.
A small pup, jumped out from under the pilots chair and hopped on his lap. "Bark-Bark! Grrr....! Bark!" the small dog sat there looking out through the reinforced canopy polymer.
"Well then, Leena. Shall we go and see what these guys are all about, eh?" and with a smile and a soft pat on his puppy Leena's head, he launched his ship.

Subject: A Change of Plans
Hey, everyone. This is Commander Sorlyn. I may be a little late to the planned tryouts tonight, I'm stuck on Deshima for repairs. Director Seido should still be able to make it on time, as far as I know.
Sorry 'bout that.

The weary and wise man laid back in his office chair and relaxed to his favorite tune.
A long day.. But a dull one at best. Hopefully Texas will be more eventful...
And with that thought he dozed asleep, into a world of dreams and ease...
