I'm going to be honest. I think the first model still looks much, much better. It needs a retexture (and were it me I'd remodel the engine) but I think it looks a lot better than the potential replacement (which, I have to tell you, looks absolutely mucked with that bone white texture and doesn't fit the line). This model just...doesn't look like a carrier. It looks like the Liberty Dreadnought's infirm older sister. The first one has a few issues, but I feel like swapping out the model will add something decidedly un-freelancerish into a very visible house ship line. I think the original carrier has got a lot going for it - I would rework some bits and retexture it - and this new one is three steps backward; not much better than the original Invisible Hand.

i agree with eppy. id rather see a properly modelled and textured import in game than a half arsed and badly textured replacement model in game, which is what both the carrier models are. im not saying im the god of modelling, or summit, but there are some basics which should be followed, and when people are adamant to not learning on how to improve their designs, then i dont see why their models should be put ingame. after all, this is a mod, and there should be some sort of quality control, not just include anything and everything modelled by people.
There are currently enough ships that we can allow ourselves to only accept quality models yes...
If you see hitbox-master-extrordianare Gurjiv-san faint at the sight of your model that should be your first que something is wrong with it...
