Mephistoles
Hm, are not gc just small group of girls, that have some tech from dragons and so? Or you think dragons allow them to make ships with the same stats as they have?
And sorry, when and where this "we need better ship because they have bettet" end???
But its almost twice... if not 3 times as big from other angles, comparing to the bd bomber.
Such as the top...
The Orchid is not too big. The Catamaran is too small -- still. Compare it with the rest of the bombers, are they too big compared with the Cat as well?

No, the Blood Dragons will never share their techs with the Golden Crysanthenum. They don't like the Golden Crysanthenum, they just are allies of circumstances, like the Order and the Corsairs, if you wish.
And it's not a question of better ship or not, it's a question of being able to fly in one at all. :/
Well , comparing the profile of those 2 bombers , I do agree that the Orchid should get a sligth boost in its powerplant. Its profile is quite big from above, but nothing else.
But since we are talking of bombers that need buffing , look at the recycler. It is the biggest bomber in the fricking game ( or at least , the one with the biggest front profile) and it has a 30k plant. The only good thing it has is a crapload of regens.

If anything you should be worried about "balancing issues". Looking at the picture Nighthawk provided, it's definitely the Rheinland Bomber. Look at the small size of that bomber, now go check out how much armor it got and the powerplant.
140-ARKM-N58 "Bergelmir" Rheinland Bomber
Stats
Gun/Turret Mounts: 4/2
Armor: 20200
Cargo Space: 105

Oh look, seems it also have two extra turrets and one of them fires forward. So 5 guns, super small profile (from all angles), 20k armor, and I assume it is a 48K powerplant.
Talk about balancing eh?

Looking at how fast the GC Bomber turns using the numbers McNeo provided you can see why it has such a low armor. It has a small profile on the front, a rather large profile above, but please tell me how many other bombers that also have a "large profile" from above? Many have.
If I could chose, I would definitely aim to have a very fast/agile bomber with low armor and low powerplant rather than the opposite. But you can't have it both ways, either you sacrifice the armor and the powerplant for a faster vessel, or your vessel becomes slower and you gain more armor & powerplant.
Actually, Rheinland's Bomber only has one forward firing turret. That thing is really tiny feeling though, that's for sure. If any bomber doesn't seem to fit, that's the one, in my opinion.
Personally, I like the Orchid how it is. Adding a separate CD slot on top of everything would be pretty fancy though. I approve.
