The Corsair-Outcast front line is in Eta. The Hessian and Corsair front line is in Omega-5 and 41. This is why Corsairs don't go to Alpha, or Vogtland for that matter. It seems Hessians and Outcasts are happy to come to Crete though.
Alpha ist just boring, except for getting cardimine, there is no real reason for non Outcast to go there, i did two Niobium smuggleling toures trough there, on one i meat noone, the other was a "I KOS you, you enemy" from a Cruiser, witch he did eventually.
The problem is not many outcastplayers useing battleships, al their enemys have enough themselves, and even more bombers to couter it.
Give the Freeport and Falkland base, some interesting Traderoutes, and allow Bountyhunter caps into the Tau?s as well, its not house space and 37 and 23 are nice places to shoot outcasts.
Honestly, Alpha is too far away from Gamma, this idea adding the Eta system was bad, having a pretty much useless minefield, in the middle of it, and virtually having no use except for crossing it. There have been some epic fights in the past, but nowadays, people hardly come across it, and the Corsair-Outcast raids are less common due to the distance.

Why do everyone always want to have harder cap control for factions, i think the ordinary player shall have as much freedom as he can while playing on this server. And ofcourse cap ships are attractive with their high price armor firepower and might. But dont say they are invincible, as for the picture taken from an BS looking at 4 other OC BS, they are a real nice target for 8-12 bombers. It is just sad as you say that none have a good reason to just bring thoose 8-12 bombers all the way up to alpha and gradually force thoose captains into falcata and sabre ships.
fighters and bombers are more fun anyway, the big battleships are for rp prurpose only in my oppinion, they dont really have any pvp value. i remember one raid against alpha where the corsairs brought 2 osiris, 2 legate and a couple of bomber and fighters. in the beginning we were 3 falcatas and 2 sabres but got some more falcatas as reinforcements relatively fast. the legates died really fast and the osiris fled. their escort didnt hold out long either. and if i remember correctly none of the battleships got anything killed, so there is really no pvp value in them. at least we can say that the number of caps is pretty much inRP and not reduced due to game mechanics ;) we cant have all the thousands of fighters online that would be there inRP but we can easily have the 5 to 10 battleships that should be around for the outcasts. i think thats a fitting number considering the 220 million outcasts there are.
