Personally, I like the Orchid how it is. Adding a separate CD slot on top of everything would be pretty fancy though. I approve.
Ah my bad, the turret statement has been fixed, and yes I agree if anything should be investigated it is the Rheinland Bomber. I always viewed the Praetorian as the best Bomber in the game, I think my opinion has changed now.
Im not sure if your opinion should change, the Rheinland snubnose is easier to hit for me, but that's just personal preference. The Praetorian also turns faster, by about .04 of a radian/second than the snubnose.

The greatest Roleplay ever of an Outcast Battleship being "Stolen"
Waran is in the Superbomber class powerplant-wise (Barghest powerplant). Sure, it's not a great dogfighter, but when it fights caps / transports, it can dish out a lot of hurt.

If you bring out a bomber, it better be to fight a bigger ship. And when that bigger ship's VHF escort starts shooting you, your own escort better engage it. Or maybe you should finish off the big ship then run away.

Exactly, this is what a lot people need to realize
If you get beaten up by fighter in a bomber, it just shows the bomber is how it should be, if you win, something is wrong (either the bomber, or the guy was too stupid to evade SNs :P)
I never saw Orchid or even fought it, but from the comparsion pic the size seems okay to me. I would need to see it in fight to decide on my opinion though.
Frankly, when I see some other bombers there, I'm about to facepalm because they are tiny.
Snubnose/Bergelmir is really small, and some others too, FA bomber, Kusari bomber, BHG bomber, they are all quite small from the front, the Ku bomber and BHG one are huge from the sides however (But I fly the BHG bomber, and its just all-round ship if properly flown)
Look at these ones, not at the big ones, those are okay. Only proper bombers in the game are Fafnir and Barghest and Waran and maybe the Recycler, in my opinion. (for example, 2 Barghests get easily beaten by one Templar, true story - the way it should be)
I've both flown in one and flown against one. Its agility doesn't help at all..
I'd rather the Orchid be put back to slower agility but get the superbomber powerplant (Barghest plant). The infocard itself says it's meant to sacrifice speed and agility for armor and firepower.. It doesn't have the firepower with the smallest bomber plant, and it has the lowest bomber armor with the exception of the FA Bomber (which is so screwed up balance wise it's not really worth mentioning..).
Give it Barghest agility, Barghest armor, and Barghest power and I'd be happy. It's already got the size. Giving it that extra CD slot would be nice, but if it were changed into the Kusari version of the Bargh I'd say it isn't needed. If it stays as it is, I'd say giving it that extra CD slot is a good idea, considering it's the worst Kusari bomber..
