I've heard many rumors from the Corsairs talking about this and that about Ventrus, self-sacrifice and everyone being part of them... I don't think they offered themselves as food because of the famine going on Crete... or they did? :mellow:
Exactly what Ventru is. It's the bloodline that offered themselves to be slain for food. The entire bloodline. So, that name (bloodline) is extinct and every Corsair is a Ventru in a way.
