Well, some people, especially those who visit the forums too often, keep themselves in an illusion, I think. (me included)
A large portion of the server population will tend to shoot you faster than you'd like. Sometimes they break the rules, sometimes they don't.
I was shot at by a horde of certain blue ships today and didn't feel like it's a biggie.
"If you want to change the world, start with yourself", that's the saying.
Can't really recommend anything else than going to the performance options and setting Tolerance, Playfulness and Creativity to maximum, and logging in.
In other words, (short, frank and harsh): it's "live with it or leave"
Whilst it is a nomad, and has a rather overpowered ship, making it almost, if not better than two ships put together, a seven on one gankfest is ridiculous.
If you were worried about getting attacked, just shoot off a //message in private next time.
Apart from that, the stereotypical response of faction feedback forum and send a PM to faction leaders must be said.
As for the trial by forum, name of faction is present, name of player is present, complaining about conduct is present. I would find it very hard to believe that this thread is not an attempted trial by forum.
Either way, eh.

Sure Hribek, you are mostly right, however I was not the attacker, plus I was not assisted by anyone, compared to your situation. I had no desire to fight those guys.

Ok... first let me say that this thread was already on fire before I ever got here...
I have only a few questions and remarks, very neutral polite because I got nothing against you:
1: Did you actually ask them not to attack you?
2: By flying through there expecting not to get attacked, you were acting ooc. Shame shame
3: The Corsaires were acting irp, while you are expecting them to act oorp. Its the most normal thing for half of the factions in Sirius to attack you, and also the most normal... psychologically.. for player to want to attack oyu because you are: a ganking faction, elitist, a closed elitist faction, do not have the reputation to do anyone a similar favor like :I am travelling to iota and 99 because its so much shorter to go tis way. Please let me pass?
4: You said 'corsairs' behave like that. I dont have a single corsiar, but I used to do the same, until I just accepted that there arent enough keepers so that everyone who wants gets to fight them.
Last, a spot of advice:
-Be less elitist. People will respect you more, instead of less
-allow more nomad ships that can actuall fight a bit.
-Dont expect peopel to act oorp in your favor to be nice to you. The closed factions like Keepers and Phantoms dont have the reputation to be nice to others.
Last thing... try to actually understand what Im trying to say before feeling insulted.
you decide to join one of the most hated factions in the game, which at the same time gets some of the most powerful ships and weapons available in this mod, and you're surprised when people rape you with a gigantic zerg swarm?
