I see.
When I used to ride, my pads always became clogged when the rims picked up mud. Hence, I switched to discs because they were higher from the mud/water. (Still, they get dirty sometimes with mud spray.)

What type is it? I personally own a Specialized Hardrock Sport with Disc brakes, and do a hell of a lot of downhill riding with it...
